One King Bed and One Queen Sleeper Sofa
With courage, hardship and determination the ancestors of our cities tri-cultural people all traveled up the Historic Old Santa Fe Trail making our unique city the place it is today. Now you can stay in this lovely Southwest-style home right off this famous trail with all the comforts of modern living. The elegant design gives light and beauty to this spacious 1,100 square foot casa. Architectural elegance is obvious when you enter with its high ceilings, double French doors opening onto two private completely enclosed patios adding to the sophisticated ambiance of this home and safety of this pet friendly home.
The bedroom has a king bed, and there is a comfortable sleeper sofa in the living room, which is also equipped with a flat screen TV. There is a full kitchen and a lovely round antique table in the dinning room. A kiva fireplace, vigas, bath with shower and tub featuring Mexican tiles, brick and floors are some of the homes other features. For those of you with sophisticated taste, yet still enjoying the flavor and details of the Old West, I highly recommend Casa Old Santa Fe Trail with only a 15 minute walk to the end of the trail where the famed Plaza is (.8 miles). You are about a 20 minute walk (1.4 miles) to Canyon Road as well as this part of the historic south capital neighborhood boarders with the east side.

About Wendy Kapp
A note from Wendy Kapp- Owner of Two Casitas Santa Fe Vacation Rentals Having been raised in Chicago, my soul longed for the massive blue skies and mountains I first saw when my mother, well-known watercolor artist Phyllis Kapp of Waxlander Gallery, introduced me to this magnificent area when I was 6 years old. While returning west in 1975, I came through Santa Fe and fell in love with Northern New Mexico once again. I found the people here, especially back in '75, to be the most authentic people I had ever met and I decided to make Santa Fe my home. My extensive knowledge from living here for since 1975 makes me the perfect, local hostess to give you tips on making your stay memorable. I hope you come to love Santa Fe and, in-turn Two Casitas, as much as I do.

Great little townhouse, designed in the traditional Santa Fe style, within walking distance to everything downtown. The unit has a comfortable living room, dining room and full kitchen. A wonderful kiva fireplace and outside courtyard add to the charm of this unit.
Thank you for the great review! We're so glad that you enjoyed the convince, comfort, and style of our home, and We hope to see you in Santa Fe again some time soon!
What a cool place to stay
This is a really cool place to stay. Nice adobe house, with a great kiva and easy walking to everywhere you’d want to be!
We are happy you enjoyed the home and look forward to hosting you with Two Casitas again in the future.
Cute and well equipped casita, with good proximity to town.
Very nice casita which looks as pictured. Key left in a lock box making checking in a breeze and a nice bottle of red wine, chips and salsa were there to welcome us!
We took our dog and found the surrounding neighborhoods very pleasant to walk. We were also in close proximity to the plaza and a gourmet grocery store was only a few blocks away.
That said, our casita did back up to a very busy street, Old Santa Fe Trail, and traffic was quite noisy at certain times of the day. However, it was quiet inside with doors and windows closed.
Thank you for the review! We're glad to hear that your arrival was easy and pleasant and that you took advantage of the home's wonderful location. Thank you for the note about the traffic noise. As you said, it's not a problem inside the home, but some more noise sensitive guests might want to look at a more secluded location. We hope to see you in Santa Fe again some time soon.
Comfortable, pet friendly and well-located
The Old Santa Fe Trail casita is lovely. More spacious than we expected and nicely-equipped (we especially appreciated the robes). While one side faces a relatively busy street, it is quiet and there are lots of other streets in the neighborhood that are great for walking the dogs. Two Casitas was great and even left a very nice welcome gift. The casita works well for dogs and we appreciated the suggestions for dog-friendly outings. We walked to dinner on the Plaza or in the Railyard every night (approximately a 15 minute walk). Thank you for a lovely stay - we would definitely stay at a Two Casitas property again.
Thank you for the great review! Old Santa Fe trail is definitely one of our more spacious and open-feeling one-bedroom homes. We're also glad that you enjoyed our welcome gifts, and took advantage of how Dog-Friendly Santa fe is! It's one of our favorite things about the town. We hope to see you in Santa Fe again some time soon!
