About Two Casitas, Santa Fe Vacation Rentals, Wendy Kapp

Collapse Having been raised in Chicago, My soul longed for the massive blue skies and mountains that I first saw when my Mother famous water color artist of Waxlander Gallery first introduced me to the magnificent area when I was only 6 years old. When traveling out west again back in 1975 I came through Santa Fe and fell in love with Northern New Mexico incredible sky's and landscape. I found the people here especially back in '75 to be the most authentic people I had ever met and I decided to make Santa Fe my home. My extensive knowledge from living here for 34 years makes me the perfect local hostess to give you tips on making your stay most memorable

Fabulous home!

  • 5 of 5

I loved everything about this home. I had my mother with me and several days she just needed to stay home and it was so pleasant here. The home was exactly as described and was so clean and comfortable. Very comfortable bed and I cooked several meals in the lovely kitchen! We were not able to walk to the places we wanted to go but it is certainly walkable for most people I am sure. I would encourage anyone to stay here and I will certainly be back! Thanks so much!!

Nice stay

  • 4 of 5

We really did enjoy our stay and we're pleased with the accommodations!

We did find the close proximity to old Santa Fe trail a pro an a con- a con because it was so highly trafficked and walking with a dog was not quite ideal.

Other than that, it was great.

Next time we

will opt for a quieter locale...

Owner's Response: We're glad that you liked the house! During August, Santa Fe can get crowded downtown, so that is definitely something to keep in mind. Next time you come, we will be sure to find you a home that is more secluded. We have a very diverse selection of locations. Thanks again, and we hope to see you again in Santa Fe some time soon.

Great house, great location

  • 4 of 5

This house matched the on line photos perfectly. It was clean, the property manager was responsive to our needs and location was ideal. The new appliances were a nice surprise. We stayed for a month and were very comfortable and cozy. The wood for the fireplace was a big plus. We enjoyed a fire in the fireplace most nights. We walked everywhere, the location is fantastic. Great shopping, museums, gallery's and restaurants were within easy walking distance. I would certainly recommend the property.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the great review! It is always a challenge to get the pictures to represent the home properly, so we are glad that you felt our photographer did a good job! Yes, the fireplace in this home is absolutely ideal, and the home is great for walking around when you're NOT enjoying the fire. We hope to see you again in Santa Fe some time soon.
