Took our family to the cabin in Wrightwood. Ended up with a white Christmas. Accommodations were cozy and clean. Kids had great time tubing at Mountain High. If there is snow must have chains or four wheel drive to make it up the hill to the cabin.
Well maintained, very clean, upgraded and modern. We really enjoyed our stay!
The property was located just outside of town, in a quiet neighborhood, but still very close to shops and resort activities. The basics were there, along with a filtered water dispenser which provided both cold and hot water. We appreciated the laundry facilities and the separate entrance. For our four-legged children, we REALLY appreciated the completely fenced-in back yard. The beds were very comfortable, and the updated bathroom and linens were a pleasant bonus as well. Our whole family would like to stay here again!
We had a very enjoyable stay at this property! The listing description was accurate and the location was very convenient, located just two miles from the resorts and the supermarket.
Eight people and a dog slept very comfortably here. All of the beds, including the day bed in the living room, were comfortable. The kids loved the bunk bed. And there was a decent amount of space -- we didn't feel cramped at all, except when about four of us tried helping in the kitchen but no biggie. The whole atmosphere was very safe and peaceful, especially at night with a fire going in the fireplace.
It was easy and a pleasure working with the owner, Jacqueline. She answered all of our questions promptly, and access into the cabin was very straightforward. I really felt that Jacqueline sincerely had our interests at heart.
The cabin is clean, well-taken care of, and easy to locate. You don't have to drive through a maze to find it, so even in the dark it was easy to find. The driveway is a bit narrow, probably because of some snow on the side, but we did manage to fit three cars in there.
We were hoping to do some sledding on the property but there wasn't enough snow. The Tubing Park though was just two miles from the property so that was easy and fun.
The backyard is fenced by a high chain link fence with no gaps or anything for our dog to squeeze through. And our kids had fun exploring the yard and poking around the nooks and crannies.
We dined in the whole three days we were there. The kitchen was well-stocked and functional, it suited our needs well. There were also lots of games available for a variety of ages.
The neighborhood itself has a laid-back feel to it as well. I would recommend this property. Oh, and the heated toilet seat was a huge plus (so welcoming on a frosty morning)!
Thank you, Jacqueline for such a cozy and enjoyable stay.
The cabin and owner made our visit for the holidays seemed like home in the pines was reallyours even ffor just 5 nights. Plenty of room for everyine. Heater worked great. Parking was great. Location was great. Owner attentive to our every needs and questions . Too cold outside but the yard in summer time would be enjoyable for sure. Owner gives your her number and email address and responds in minutes . Not hours. It was a home away from home. Thank you for the memories.
My family and I had a wonderful time spending 4 days at Jaqueline's Luxery Mountain Retreat Cabin in Wrightwood, Ca the week of Christmas 2015!
The Cabin was everything it claimed to be and more! It has a large full deck porch in front and a fenced backyard. My wife and kids and I had fun in the evenings playing several board games that the cabin was stocked with. The cabin is beautifully decorated and has many modern kitchen and bathroom upgrades as well as enough room to sleep 8 comfortably. Having a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer came in handy after skiing!
Jaqueline was awesome about getting back to us and answering all of our questions via email before, during, and after our trip.
The Cabin is an easy 5 minute drive to Mountain High Ski Resort. We've stayed in many cabin rentals over the years but nothing compared to how nice and comfortable this was!
We most definitely plan on staying here again in the very near future and we will gladly recommend staying here to our family and friends.
Thank you Jaqueline for making us feel at home in your beautiful cabin!
