"Wonderful, comfortable home"
I rented this home in 2013 for an annual fathers and sons ski weekend. There were 12-14 of us dads and 10-years olds. The house is spacious, well-located and has a lovely lake view. It has quality finishes without being so polished or refined that you need to worry about having a large group there (or 10-year olds). Every last person was pleased with the house, including those who slept on couches.
I've used Castle Peak to help me on several of these weekends and they always do a lovely job.
We were two families staying at this cozy cabin for the long weekend. It has plenty of room and space and a great layout. We will definitely be back!
This past week, me and some close friends and family stayed for 2 night at this lovely cabin. It was our first time renting a cabin and didn't know what to expect. Well our expectations, will definitely be up there after this magnificent cabin! The layout is beautiful, you can see the lake from the living room. This rental included a kayak, paddle boat and small boat. We did not have the chance to use neither, but definitely a plus. The street is dark and could be difficult to see the house numbers, so arrive early if possible. The facility was clean, modern and has a huge selection of kitchen supplies. Three floors, four bedrooms and plenty of space. The outside jacuzzi was a plus! Warm, clean water, facing the lake. Breathtaking! You won't be dissapointed, please believe. We were celebrating my husbands 30th bday and wow did he enjoy himself. Could not have chosen a better place. The is also a cute fire next to the water white is lovely. Due to the high fires, we weren't able to use but hopefully that won't be the case next time.
For our first family ski/boarding vacation, we could not have chosen a better place. The comfort and family feeling of the cabin accommodations made us feel very much at home. We had everything we needed to make the very snowy weekend extremely comfortable. In addition to the great comforts inside the cabin, getting to/from the cabin and up/down the driveway were made easy by the thorough plowing done daily! Overall great family experience!
Our group of 3 families had a wonderful time staying at Lakefront Luxury! We had plenty of space as well as separation for kids and adults. The location on the lake was gorgeous in the winter, but would be even more spectacular during the summer. For our situation, we would have liked to have a third queen or king vs. the 2 twin beds in the third bedroom. As well, the master bed could use a bit of cushioning, especially after a few days of skiing. Loved walking around the lake each evening to stretch out the tired bones from skiing, sledding etc. We were disappointed that the hot tub was not available (although it was stated, we just really would have liked access) as well as that the gas BBQ was not available, even though it was under a covered deck?? Now if we could only get someone to reopen the wonderful lodge - things at Serene Lakes would be ideal!
