Great location/home for a family vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our extended family of 14 - grandparents and 3 children's families with 6 grandchildren ages from 18-3 years - had a wonderful vacation week. We rented the Racing Beach property for the closeness to a nice beach for young children and the number of bedrooms and full bathrooms. This 1950s upgraded property did not surprise us and really met all our needs; bedrooms and bathrooms, outdoor shower was key, great porch for eating all meals and playing games, big yard for kids and adults to play, not far from towns, close to bike path, quiet, safe neighborhood for walking. While the kitchen is smallish, we made it work for preparing meals including one night of homemade pizza (the 4 families all make a meal). We all love the beach and being able to walk down any time was great. We filled the 2 carts with kids, beach supplies & toys (plenty of toys in garage!) in the morning and went for the day! The beach faces west and sunsets are magnificent. The terrain of sand vs more rocks changes often, so we needed water shoes in order to get into the water and to the sandy area/sand bar. The water is warm and no seaweed. We brought kayaks and left them safely locked at the beach - kayaking was great. In addition to the beach we; biked, went to Childrens Museum, went on a Whale Watch, road the carousel, went to Aquarium and playgrounds. Our family originally from RI has expanded to CA, VA & NC. We only get together once a year and this week was one of the best - weather does help! Thank you Annette for providing your lovely home. We will be back

Beach house in Cape Cod

  • 5 of 5

We started at this house in June and loved it. It was big enough for 14 of us and there were places people could go for privacy. The beach was just a quick walk Donna pathway in he back of the house. The house had everything one would need for a vacation. We loved the antiques and decorations. Nicely done! We hope to rent again next year or soon after.

Beautiful, Well-maintained, home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

We had a family of three staying in this beautiful spacious house!! We utilized the screen room every morning enjoying our coffee and breakfast. The ocean breeze was fantastic and the view was breathtaking!! The house was well supplied with various items to make our stay there feel like home! The house was very clean and the yard was well maintained. The quick 5 minute walk to the beach was a bonus! Should we plan another family get together, this place will be the first one we try to book!!

WE LOVED THIS PLACE!!!

  • 5 of 5

Three families of cousins stayed in this lovely home with fun and ease. The kitchen has plenty of space for food prep and fridge space. Because we had beautiful weather, we found ourselves using the ample dining room table for computers and work details (instead of meals). The spacious living room lends itself to large and comfortable gatherings late into the night, as well as reading corners during the day. It flows into the comfortable and spacious enclosed porch where we enjoyed all meals. This spilled into the grassy yard with plenty of space for lounging. The short walk to the beach is easy, and the beach is awesome for daytime fun and evening sunsets. The neighborhood is a great combination of connected streets and mild hills for biking, walking and running. Everyone was comfortable in their bedroom/bathroom configurations, with plenty of space for teenagers and young kids, too. This is an easy and comfortable home - highly recommended by our families.

Private Beach Paradise!

  • 5 of 5

This house was in the best location. The private beach was incredible, we rented kayaks and a stand up paddle boards to enjoy even more fun at the beach. We actually felt like we were on an island in the Caribbean :) The garage was well equipped with all sorts of beach gear- which was so convenient. The views from most of the second floor bedrooms are breathtaking. The neighborhood is extremely peaceful and its great to bike, jog or just walk around. The yard is perfect for a game of wiffle ball or any fun summer yard game! My family made some amazing memories during our stay here and I am hopeful to be able to book again next season!!!!
