St Petersburg Bungalow Rental Photos and Description

2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 4

This adorable 1920's bungalow is situated on a charming red brick street in the historic Crescent Lake Park area of St Petersburg. It has been recently renovated inside and out with brand new everything!

It's so adorable that we received a call from the hit TV show 'Sweet Retreats' wanting our Cottage on their show!!! It just so happened that the dates they wanted were already booked with guest...so no show this time, but what an honor to be chosen.

Ok, back to the Cottage...It has 2 bedrooms, one bedroom that has a posh boutique look done in grey/white/teal. The linens are of the finest quality and you won't want to get out of bed. There is a walk-in closet and a desk in room. The other bedroom is more of a beachy look with bright colors of blue/green/white...again there's a walk-in closet and super comfy linens. Both bedrooms have 'The Cottage' Robes and slippers to use for your comfort. These are also for sale at a reasonable price to guest who want to own them or give them as a gift. The bathroom has an old fashioned feel with oil rubbed bronze finishing touches and a spa appeal. This room is in grey/black/white. The living room has beautiful furnishings in espresso dark woods with leather sofa and chairs. Coordinating dining room and desk furniture in this spacious area make it feel super warm and inviting. The sun room at the front of house is the perfect place for reading or napping. The kitchen has been recently updated with new granite. It has brand new dishwasher, microwave, and fixtures. You'll love that it is well equipped...we love to cook so we tried to not forget anything. There is also a brand new washer/dryer for your convenience. And for those of you with toddlers or small children we have a high chair, pack and play, umbrella stroller, and a bed side rail ...we've added these so you won't have to lug so much stuff on your 'relaxing' vacation :-)) *We use only chemical free, non-toxic, Green cleaners in our Cottage.

Outside the yard is beautifully landscaped and there is a new pavered patio area to grill your burgers or steaks and hang out by the fire pit. You can walk out the door and within a few steps be at one of the areas most beautiful waterfront parks with paths for walking, running, tennis courts, children's play area, and more. Or you can hop in your car and be in the neatest waterfront downtown area in all of Florida in just 4 minutes. With sailboats lining the waterfront with such visual impact, gorgeous immaculate parks, historic hotels, incredible fine dining and casual eateries abound, world class art galleries and museums, eclectic shops galore, and the best gelato anywhere! We love downtown St Pete for it's many unique and charming qualities and we know you will too. Just 15-20 minutes from the cottage you can reach Tampa International Airport or have your toes in the soft white sand of St Pete Beach or Fort Desoto Beach. You can rent kayak's, paddle boards, bikes, sailboats, motor boats, and scooters all nearby. Any special request will be considered.

Why Kimberly Wasserman chose St Petersburg

There's no place quite like St Pete to us. We LOVE it!! So for many years we have dreamed of owning our own little vacation rental here like the ones we've stayed in all over the globe...where you get a feeling of warmth and comfort you just can't get in a hotel room. When we first walked into this home it had such charm and character, and it's location put it super close and convenient to everything cool about St Pete...we knew all it needed was a little love and special touches to stand out among the market here. And we think it does.

What makes this bungalow unique

This home is one short block from a gorgeous lakefront park that has been one of our favorite spots in St Pete since we married. It has been our go to Picnic Spot for 13 years. So, when we drove by on the way to the park and saw the for sale sign we turned around immediately! REALLY close to EVERYTHING you'd want to see and do in the St Pete and Tampa Bay area. It's 4 min. to downtown, 15 minutes to Tampa International Airport, 20 min. to St Pete Beach, and just about anything you want is a very quick walk or drive from here. Everything is brand new, super stylish, and very comfortable. We have tried to make this a place everyone would enjoy and so far anyone who's seen it wants to move in :-) Come see for yourself.

Fabulous cottage.

  • 5 of 5

Myself and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this pretty cottage. The owners made us feel very welcome and provided a lot of useful supplies. The cottage was really well equipped and provided everything we could possibly need.

We had stayed at the beach on previous trips and so enjoyed staying close to town this time. This suited us perfectly as we had planned visits to the excellent Dali Museum, The Sunken Gardens and Busch Gardens (30-40 minutes drive) and also meant we were close to some very good restaurants. The beach was only a short drive away and the owners provided beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas and cool box etc

We would love to return when we next visit St Pete.

Wonderful month at Crescent Lake Cottage in St. Pete!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I (and our two dogs!) enjoyed an amazing month at the Crescent Lake Cottage in St. Pete. Be assured the Cottage is exactly as shown in the photos. Pack your toothbrush.....everything else you will need is provided, including bed linens, towels and even kitchen staples! No restless nights here....the beds are extremely comfortable. Head out the back door and only one block away you will find Crescent Lake Park, a great place to exercise for you and your dog! Quick access to the Interstate made travel very easy. There are many great restaurants in the area: Mazzaros Italian Market, Ceviche (for tapas) and Tripps Diner (for breakfast), etc. If you love seafood and like to grill don't miss the Save On Fish Market! The Farmers' Market was our favorite Saturday morning activity. Our entire stay exceeded all expectations! This was a perfect place to stay as a respite from cold and dark Michigan winter months. If you are looking for a comfortable "home away from home" look no further. Crescent Lake Cottage has it all!

Stay at Crescent Lake Cottage February 2016

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful place to stay! The cottage is even nicer than the photos and the owners were fantastic. They made sure we had everything we needed and they even provided a goodie basket for us when we arrived with coffee, fruit, goodies so we didn't need to grocery shop that day after our long trip. Assuring we had everything needed for a comfortable stay exceeded our expectations! We would definitely stay there again.

Home away from Home

  • 5 of 5

This home was an oasis for our little family. We had our 4 year old and 5 month old and it was perfect. Everything we needed for the baby was provided as well as a number to a baby rental service for anything else we needed. It was a perfect location to everything we came for: parks, beach, downtown, trader joes, freeway, fun restaurants. It was extremely hot while we were in St. Petersburg so we spent more time at the house than we had planned and could not have enjoyed it more. The good A/C saved us! Kim was the best host! She completely took care of us while there with a great gift basket upon arrival, tons of great recommendations, new sand toys for my 4 year old and even offered to baby sit multiple times. I told her I wanted to buy this home after our stay! It's darling! So needless to say I would stay here anytime we visit St. Pete and would recommend this to anyone. Thanks Kim!

Just a wonderful cottage!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I loved this cottage! It is beautifully decorated in the heart of St Pete. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the cottage is very well appointed for all of your needs. We particularly enjoyed the back patio area with the grill and fire pit. Just a wonderfully homey stay at this cottage. Would love to stay here again one day

Lovely St. Petersburg Cottage

  • 5 of 5

This adorable cottage was the perfect place for a winter vacation in Florida. We loved everything about it; it's pretty, comfortable and immaculate. Kimberly and Michael thought of everything needed to make our time here feel like "home." We enjoyed the comfortable beds (great linens), yummy towels, the well-stocked kitchen, Netflix + dozens of channels, wi-fi, even a box of DVDs. There are picnic baskets, beach totes (filled w beach towels) and a shed filled with beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. AND a brand-new Weber outdoor grill, which my husband loved! Kim was so attentive to our needs and did whatever was necessary to make our stay perfect.....a great host, who felt like a friend. We were greeted with a welcome basket filled with goodies (teas, popcorn, chocolates, etc.) and found staples already there: coffee, sugar, flour, spices and the bathroom stocked w essentials.

St. Petersburg is a wonderful vacation spot. We visited the museums (several times), the art galleries, antique shops, craft stores, markets (including the famous Saturday Farmers' Market for a terrific outdoor lunch), restaurants, strolled the waterfront and took in the Boyd Hill Preserve. We also attended two shows at the Palladium theater - both excellent. We took day trips to De Soto Park, Safety Harbor, Sarasota and Punta Gorda, too. But I think my favorite activity was lying on the daybed in our pretty sunroom in the afternoons, reading or listening to music -- heaven!
