We love this house and the convenient proximity to all Santa Barbara has to offer. Since we spend time during the year at our cabin in the Sierra Nevada foothills, we chose this classic cozy home because we knew it could be an exceptional occasional vacation rental for visitors to our wonderful town and a great spot for our large family to gather throughout the year.
Quiet location with large private and completely secure rear and side yards with hot tub and 1000 square feet of tiled patios. Award winning landscape by Grace Design Associates. Just a few minutes drive to downtown Santa Barbara or the beaches. Crosstown Electric Shuttle pick-up across the street M-F 7am-6pm takes you downtown and the east side of Santa Barbara
This home provided my husband, 2 friends, and myself the most relaxing and welcoming stay we could have asked for. Where do I begin? The house itself is quaint yet spacious and allowed plenty of room for the 4 of us to reside for the week. The decor is beautiful, charming, and unique. The house was super clean and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable including plenty of towels, extra blankets, coffee machine, and booklet of all the cool things to do and places to eat around town. The bedroom doors opening to the lush garden was a special treat and sipping coffee on the patio surrounded by the California flora was a fabulous start to our mornings. The jacuzzi was a highlight for sure! In addition, the communication from the family was always swift and personable. This house is a must-see and a must-stay!
What a sweet spot! 4 of us rented this house for our friend's wedding at the Bakara Spa and it was perfect! Two of my party actually stayed at the house even longer. The backyard is amazing and we spent most of our time at home there. Loved how there was patio access from each of the 3 bedrooms. Would definitely stay here again!
Took the family of 5 to SB for a quick visit and this home was perfect for us. The home has great features, most notably the kitchen. I'd stay here or recommend it again without a doubt.
We loved the Spanish casita. The house was very clean. The beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in. The most impressive part of this house is the yard. It is a true sanctuary! We all enjoyed sitting outside for most of the day, soaking up the sun and smelling the fresh flowers. I would definitely stay here again. It is a gem of a rental home!
My two girlfriends and I stayed here for 3 nights, just a girls get away. It was absolutely perfect. For starters the kitchen was off the hook. Awesome wolf range to play with. I am a chef school grad and let me say this kitchen was impressively well stocked. I only made one dinner there, I think next time I'll do more. Very high end appliances through out. And that farm sink, Love It !! That said, the rest of the
house did not fall short either. beautiful (I believe original) hard wood floors, loved the style of furniture they picked. everywhere a rustic but classy touch.
details all over the house, weather is was in the hardware used or the shape of the doorknobs to the claw foot tub or the push out windows. It has CHARACTER !! This house definitely did not look like a rental at all nor did it feel like one. We all felt very comfortable there. Now for the back yard. all I can say is WOW.
We walked around just looking at the different kinds of plants they used to landscape. All I wanted to do was to land in one of the many comfy chairs and read a good book. Actually I did. Great Jacuzzi, Two separate patios to relax in as well. I also loved that each bedroom had its own door to this amazing back yard. This house shows pride of ownership and passion , it shows up everywhere. Just loved it, we enjoy Santa Barbara for a little getaway to decompress and we will enjoy this home in the future.
We stayed at the property from Christmas eve to New Year's eve with my two daughters and spouses. It was a perfect vacation home. We prepared our Christmas eve dinner and Christmas day dinner in the beautiful kitchen. The Wolf stove is fantastic. There's plenty of kitchen counter space and the dining area fit all of us plus our relatives. We also had a dinner at the outside table with relatives and friends. We lacked for nothing. Also, the house is close enough to downtown to walk. My wife and I walked every morning to Arnaud's bakery on State Street for a croissant and cappuccino. We have already recommended the house to our friends and relatives.
