About Susana Connors Escobido
I built Casa Pacifica in the jungle with the dream of offering a retreat, a peaceful haven for my friends, family and guests. It has been that and much more. It is said that there is magic on my rooftop, a connection to the universe. I practice Tai Chi each day at the water's edge in honor of Mothers: Earth, Air, Water and Fire.

Relax and unwind
My husband and I just returned home from a month long stay in the Blue Hawaii suite at Casa Pacifica Bed + Breakfast in Chacala, Mexico. A truly wonderful place to relax and unwind from the rat race. Accommodation was clean and decorated with Mexican colour and flair. Daily breakfasts were delicious and filling, with 8 breakfast selections to choose from, including Bertha's delicious home made bread, jams, salsa, and beans. The breakfast area on the second floor is open air under a canopy, where the sea breeze was warm and inviting, with a view of the ocean in the distance. Long term staff make Casa Pacifica feel like you are at home. The patio and gardens are awash with colour with beautiful tropical plants and blooming bushes. Included free wifi was nice to have. Flowers abound. Our hostess (and owner) Susana was friendly, and truly wanting to make our stay a memorable one. I would definitely stay here again, but next time I would rent a car. The daily walk to the beach was certainly doable, but mostly all uphill coming back at the end of the day. A car would have made this much easier. All in all a lovely place to stay!! I highly recommend it.
Casa Pacifica is THE place to stay in Chacala!
Susana and her staff run an excellent B&B. The rooms are large, nicely appointed and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and the cafe is the hub of activity in Chacala. Susana and her staff always go the extra mile, helping you make appointments, providing information on local activities, anything you might need. We highly recommend Casa Pacifica.
