This is a 3 bedroom, 3 bath, executive class home in the heart of Corona del Mar village. Ocean side of PCH and one block to the Goldenrod foot bridge. Walk to all amenities in the village, and the beach. Fashion Island is a few minutes by car. The home was built in the 1990's and has been very well maintained. Two bedrooms including master and two full baths upstairs; one bedroom and one full bath downstairs. One car garage and one tandem covered off street parking place. Very quiet cul-de-sac street.

Lifestyle, location, weather, beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. And easy access to L.A. for museums, sports, shopping, etc.
This Corona Del Mar rental is a gem! The owner is great — very communicative and flexible with check-ins and payment. The home is large, nicely outfitted and very comfortable. The 3rd bedroom is an office on the first level with a daybed — we used it as an office during our 4 week stay, it was perfect.
It's an easy walk to the Coast Highway where you'll find plenty to eat (cold-press juice shops on every corner, it seems) and the swankiest movie theater ever. Parking in the back was very convenient (although there was always street parking available). Some evenings we would walk with our kids to Lookout Point and watch the sun set with a picnic meal. Magical! Although the beach is walkable, there are steep-ish steps and so it's not ideal if you're carrying too much or with small children. However, it was super easy to drive and park there ($1.50/hour) AND if you patronize the Tackle Box restaurant they give you 2 hours of free parking anyhow! We would stay here, again and again and again if Robert will have us back!
p.s. There is a cute playground a mere 3 blocks away that we only discovered toward the end of our stay!
We were delighted with this spacious Corona Del Mar home. It was by far the best equipped Homeaway property we've ever stayed in, as well as immaculate and attractive. And truly minutes from the ocean. We hope to return next year.
My family was recently in Corona del Mar for a dreamy, elegant wedding at Pelican Hill...so we were OBVIOUSLY going to have a blast on our week-long vacation. But, this house was PERFECT for us. It was clean, cozy, and close to everything we needed. There is a garage which proved to be handy for parking as well as storage. The rooftop patio was ideal for happy hour and the atrium French doors opened up to the dining room, making the dinner table feel like patio seating! Thank you SO much for making our stay SO easy, Robert. (Dealing with the owner of the property is ALWAYS better.) Customer service was fantastic! (And the pizza recommendation was spot-on!) If we ever find ourselves in Orange County again, I hope we get to stay at your lovely home!
We just returned from our third visit to this wonderful home at the beach! The house has everything you need, is spacious and fun. Happy hour or coffee on the roof, reading on the front patio or a game of cards or dinner in shaded courtyard...each unique and enjoyable. The home and neighborhood are beautiful and dog friendly. The beach, restaurants and groceries are within walking distance...no need for a car. Thanks again for sharing your home with others Bob and Margaret! We can't wait to return!
This CDM rental was perfect! I was lucky enough to spend nearly 3 weeks here and I loved it. This house is very comfortable and bright, with a modern kitchen, a comfy family/TV room, & a master bedroom that was very welcoming with a Juliet balcony that opened to the street. This house came with all necessities - coffee maker, linens, place settings, cooking utensils, etc.). The best part was being able to go upstairs on the roof top deck for morning coffee, sunbathing during the day and then in evening I would go up with a glass of wine and watch the sun set. This house is walking distance to the beach, its a really nice walk going across the plant-lined bridge and it was at most a 7 min stroll). The owners provided all the beach supplies (chairs, towels, boards, umbrella etc.) so u don't have to bring your own. There are many great restaurants and cafes within walking distance along the PCH that you can walk to within minutes. There is a Park nearby that was perfect for my dog when I didn't make it the beach. WiFi worked great! I never had any issues with street parking, however, there is a 1 car attached garage but I never needed to use it. Can't wait to come back. The owner, Bob, was very accommodating and responsive to any of my needs. Thanks Bob, it was a real pleasure.
My family and I stayed here for a week in June 2012. The owners were easy to work with and responsive to our every need. The house was pristine and is well-decorated and spacious. The kitchen is has everything you'd want it to have and has a great gourmet gas cooktop. The two upstairs bedrooms have very nice en suite bathrooms. The neighborhood is quiet. There is room for 1 car in the garage; street parking is plentiful. The house is within walking distance to Corona del Mar beach, shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, and the famous Sprinkles Cupcakes on Pacific Coast Highway. Newport Fashion Island Is 5 minutes away by car. I give this rental my highest recommendation!
