About the property

5 Bedrooms, 5.5 Bathrooms

This beautiful, professionally decorated and immaculately clean vacation home is located at one of the best locations in the Whitefish Mountain Resort. In the winter you're only steps from feeling the snow beneath your skis. In the summer you're close to the many wonderful activities that the mountain has to offer, as well as the Flathead Valley and Glacier Park. In winter take in the gorgeous mountain views in front of the fireplace. In summer you'll appreciate relaxing in air conditioned comfort on those hot summer evenings. And in any season, enjoy the hot tub right outside the back door or barbecue on your private gas grill. This vacation home boasts quite possibly the best views of Whitefish Mountain. Whitefish has everything a vacation should have -- skiing, boating, biking, walking, relaxing. Pure fun and enjoyment. Take long romantic walks. Enjoy the wildlife. Stroll to one of the many neighborhood restaurants and bars. Stay in and enjoy the wall mounted 46' flat screen TV or secure wi-fi internet. Create your own dine-in experience with the modern, fully equipped chef's kitchen. Spend the day exploring northwestern Montana. Glacier National Park is a short 20 mile scenic drive. The charming mountain village of Whitefish is also a very short drive. There are many reasons the 2013 season of The Bachelor chose this location as one of their main destinations. We hope this will be one of the best vacations you ever have.

If you are planning a trip to San Diego please check out my Ocean Beach listings #992787 and #3777320. Getaways steps from the sand.

Great Layout for large/multiple families!!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed with 3 families (6 adults and 6 kids) and we had plenty of room. We were there for eight nights on a ski vacation over New Years. The upstairs bunk rooms were fantastic space for the kids to play, while leaving some "adult space" in the living room. Great layout, and loved that all bedrooms had their own ensuites. House was very well appointed, and kitchen was well supplied to cook meals for 12 people. We were all very comfortable and enjoyed our week, despite the frigid temperatures on the hill over New Years week. The 8 pair-boot drying rack in the heated garage was a great touch to make sure all our ski boots were dried and warmed and ready to go. Owner was also very responsive, and house was clean and in great shape when we checked in (always my biggest concern!) Overall a great stay, and highly recommended for large/multiple families

Loved it.

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautifully kept well appointed cozy 5 bedroom chalet. Access to the mountain was superb. The house was well equipped with all amenities. It was truly ski in ski out with a beautiful view of he slopes. The owner was responsive and available for questions and needs. We highly recommend this home.

Great property in a great location

  • 4 of 5

My family very much enjoyed the stay at this property on Big Mountain. It easily slept 8 adults, and bathrooms everywhere. It was well-stocked with everything that we needed for a comfortable stay (except for an extremely slow coffee maker). Definitely a property that we would consider using again.

Beautifully situated! Met all our needs!

  • 4 of 5

We rented this property the second week of August 2016. When you first arrive you are met with a wall of windows facing the ski hill! Beautiful! Loved the living area, view, front porch, fireplace, open concept! Lots of living area, comfortable for families. Enjoyed resting in the hot tub after a long day of hiking! Downtown Whitefish was also very enjoyable. Went shopping, ate at Ciao Mambo & loved the Tuesday night farmers market! Spent our days hiking at Glacier National Park, loved Avalanche Lake & Highline trails! Connie was very quick to answer all our needs & we enjoyed staying at her rental!

  • 5 of 5

We have had a super time here would recommend it to anyone. The location is brilliant for access to the mountain. The house is extremely will equipped with everything you need to cook and access your multi media devices.

Connie is fantastic and communicating and checking everything is up to standard and this is definitely great from a renter point of view. I would definitely recommend both if you want a great stay in Whitefish.

Many thanks

Beautiful house

  • 5 of 5

We booked this house for a group of 11 and had a wonderful time! The house is huge with large bedrooms and numerous bathrooms. We had more than enough space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked with all types of cookware - the best I've ever seen in a rental house! The garage was heated and had racks for our skis and boots; it was very nice to wake up and put on warm boots every day. The only thing to keep in mind is that this is not technically a "ski in/ski out" as some of the other reviews claim. You have to physically walk down the street a bit (3 minutes) to get to the slopes - you cannot ski right up to the house or right out the door. That being said, the listing itself does make note of this in the title ("steps away from the slopes") and was accurately portrayed. We had a great time and would definitely stay in this house again!

Whitefish Mountain Resort has attractions year round. It offers skiing and snowboarding in the winter with lots of on and off piste runs for all skill levels, a terrain park and very short lift lines. In the summer there is a zip line, mountain biking on the ski trails, an alpine slide and of course miles and miles of hiking trails. Without ever leaving the mountain you can enjoy a five star meal at the Kandahar, or a casual meal at Ed and Mully’s or the Day Lodge. Relax and enjoy a drink and music at the Bierstube Tavern.

Five miles down the mountain is the charming mountain west village of Whitefish, which offers plenty of fine dining, nightlife and shopping for western art and apparel. Don’t miss the Great Northern Brewery, where you can sample a variety of craft beers. Enjoy a fine meal lakeside at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake, or perhaps on the Terrace downtown at Casey’s (both featured in a Bachelor episode 2013 season.) Or go casual and treat yourself to maybe the best hamburger you will ever eat and a Moose Drool beer at the Bulldog Saloon. Of course these are just a few of the great eateries on tap; there are plenty more. After dinner you may want to do a little partying at the Great Northern Bar and Grill with the locals.

In the summer the beautiful alpine Whitefish Lake offers boating, wake boarding, jet-skiing or water skiing as you prefer.

A short twenty mile drive takes you to the entrance of Glacier Park, “The Crown of the Continent,” arguably America’s most gorgeous national park of all. Enjoy hiking, fishing, sightseeing or guided river rafting. he movie “River Wild” was filmed on the south fork of the Flathead River, which runs through the park. The rapids are just fast enough to be exhilarating yet still family friendly. If you come in the summer, do not miss the “Going to the Sun Road”, which can be followed all the way to the adjoining Canadian park, Waterton. There is no more beautiful drive to be found anywhere.

Whitefish is a place you will want to visit again and again.

Notes:
4000sq foot, comfortable, luxury townhouse with absolutely gorgeous views. Air conditioning for those hot summer nights -- much needed! Large hot tub out the back door. At least two guests must be over 27 years of age. No pets and NO SMOKING. The unit next door is also available. Please see listing# 3904921. I am sorry I have to add but.... This is a family-style residence for families and adults. This is not a 'party-style' residence. This is NOT an appropriate vacation rental if you feel your group will be excessively noisy, disruptive to the neighborhood and harmful to the property. I have a 'good neighbor policy' with my neighbors and I want to make sure that my guests accept that same policy.
