About Two Casitas, Santa Fe Vacation Rentals, Wendy Kapp

Having been raised in Chicago, I knew did not want to spend my life in the big City. When traveling out west back in 1975 I came through Santa Fe and fell in love with Northern New Mexico's incredible sky's and landscape. Such a intimate little village offering culture and arts. I found the people here especially back in '75 to be the most authentic people I had ever met and I decided to make Santa Fe my home. I raised my only child here which has been life's biggest gift. My family of origin has moved here is well. My mother Phyllis Kapp is a well known local water color artist who owns the Waxlander Gallery on Canyon Road. I have always been intrigued with the architecture and and its earthy nature of the homes in Santa Fe and I started to purchase real-estate. I started my business back in 98 with just two casitas, thus the name. The business grew organically from there. People started asking me to manage their homes. Two Casitas now boasts an inventory of 30 homes. Most all walking distance to the Plaza, Canyon Road and the Rail Yard district.. Those who come to Santa Fe and fall in love come and visit us year after year. It is a joy to share the love of New Mexico with our visitors I feel my extensive knowledge from living here for 36 years makes me the perfect local hostess to give you tips on helping you choose the perfect home for you and making your stay most memorable.

Wonderful stay in Santa Fe!

  • 5 of 5

Location is everything and Reposada is right in the heart of Santa Fe. It is just a few short blocks from the Plaza with easy access to galleries, restaurants, the Georgia O'Keefe Museum, shopping and entertainment. And yet, you'll appreciate those few blocks back to a neighborhood that they call the "secret side to Santa Fe." I think the secret is that it is so quiet and tranquil. With over 400 hundred restaurants in Santa Fe, we walked to a different place each morning for breakfast and then each evening for dinner. Our favorites were Clafoutis for French pastries - be sure to try to the Nutella Crepes and Eloisa for dinner - choose the Chef's Table and order the Jicama tacos! Reposada was perfect for my husband and I. Very clean, well-appointed, air-conditioned, and comfortable. The bed was amazing and we slept very well! Our hosts - Wendy, Will, Megan were so kind, helpful and gracious. I would highly recommend their properties. They checked in with us several times and provided great tips - oh, and coffee! Thank you for that. It was a perfect stay and we can't wait to come back!

Brat area to stay in Santa Fe!

  • 4 of 5

This a great place to stay in Santa Fe. We walked to wonderful restaurants, museums, shopping. The home was very clean. We had trouble with the furnace but the managers were right there. Our dog loved the walk to the Santa Fe River walk which was only a block away. She loved the huge dog park. My husband caught a huge rainbow trout with the help of a guide from Land of Enchantment guiding service. And we golfed a few rounds. So much to do in this marvelous city. Don't miss The Village Market and Resturant inTesque. Fun, fun and fun!

This place was so cool I asked if it was for sale. INCREDIBLE space. I don't want to say too much more because everyone will rent it. It's a secret.

EXCELLENT!!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the location. Our first time back in 10 yrs. I was born in Estancia. We came to Santa Fe 8 consecutive yrs and staying 10 to 14 days each time. We were researching my fathers ancestors in the Santa Fe area who came in 1610-1612. Anyway the house was very small, very clean and had everything we needed. We loved it. Next time we will rent a larger house. We will recommend your property to our friends.

Wonderful Santa Fe Experience

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a week in April 2014 with two dogs, and had a perfect experience. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants, and a dog park was about a mile away. We discovered a fantastic French bakery blocks away and had took breakfast home to eat on the private patio every morning. I love that we could keep the windows and doors open to enjoy the fresh air while still having some privacy thanks to the enclosed patio. We did some light cooking and found everything we needed in the kitchen, and we also enjoyed having a full size washer and dryer. The furnishings and linens are very nice, and I really can't think of anything that was lacking. Parking could not be more convenient, just outside the back door. We can't wait to return to Santa Fe and would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I spent a week in Santa Fe at this lovely cassita. This was our 3rd trip to SF and this was the best rental by far. This cassita is just great with very comfortable bed and lots of fluffy towels in small bath. Kitchen is fine but with all the great restaurants we didn't cook just had coffee in the morning and cocktails on the great patio in the evening. Highly recommend.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for the wonderful review! It's clear that you love Santa Fe (so do we!) and we love when our casitas can make something you already love even better! Local dining is so important to the Santa Fe experience, and we are so glad that you took advantage even though the kitchen was adequate for home-cooking needs.
