This fantastic 3 bedroom townhouse is the ideal holiday accommodation for any family, group of golfers or couple looking for a luxury relaxing break on the beautiful west coast of Barbados. Distributed over two levels, accommodation comprises of 3 large double air conditioned bedrooms, one of which features an en-suite bathroom, separate dressing area and private terrace overlooking the pool which is ideal for spending lazy days relaxing in the sunshine. There is a large family bathroom servicing the remaining two guest bedrooms and a guest toilet on the lower level. The open plan lounge has been divided into 3 areas: a sitting area, television area and dining area with access onto a rear private terrace which is frequently visited by the local monkeys in search of fruit from the mango trees. The kitchen is fully equipped for your stay with an excellent selection of electrical kitchen appliances. The house is accessed by a charming entrance room with a front decked area complete with a large barbeque which is ideal for al fresco dining. The Mango court development features a large communal swimming pool with two external showers and there are numerous sun loungers situated next to the pool for sunbathing. This secure development is accessed through an electric gate and there is an allocated parking space for the house directly in front of the entrance. Further features include WIFI throughout.

Perfect place to call home for 2 weeks.

This townhouse (1 of 4) was perfect for us. It is in a secure compound with parking. Lots of rooms indoors and a nice pool and deck outside. Monkeys and birds were a delight with the morning coffee in the sunshine. The place is starting to show a little wear, but nothing serious. The place is very clean and welcoming. Definitely a place I will return to in the future. It is close to the beach (2 blocks). close to buses (1 block) and a kilometer from Holetown. (An easy walk for most, or hop on the bus for a 5 minute ride)

A/C in the rooms was a blessing at night; and during the day the place has ceiling fans everywhere. Kitchen has everything you need. Wireless throughout the house and in the yard.

Geoff (property manager) was awesome. He arranged our taxi to pick us up at the airport, and had a lot of helpful tips for our stay. He is only a phone call away if required.

We will definitely return in the future.

Bright, spacious indoor and out,lovely pool.

Quiet safe location.Convenient for beach and Holetown using bus or walking.Lovely restaurants nearby.The outside paintwork needs sprucing up.The kitchen was really well equipped with a good washing machine but no dish washer.On the whole a very enjoyable stay and we would return.

Very comfortable and quiet.

Spacious accommodation and well managed. Lovely clean pool and an easy walk to the beach. Well appointed kitchen and plenty of linen and towels. Buses nearby but a car is best for shopping and touring. Off-street parking available. Highly recommended for a family.

Superb villa in an excellent location

We hit very lucky with this property, with four villas in the grounds and we where the only people on site for the duration of our stay. The swimming pool and grounds are superb, access to Holetown and other areas on the west coast was excellent. Overall Mary, the house manager was a great support when needed. The only downside was the shower in the main bathroom, this needs sorted as if your taller than 4foot you cant stand up without it collapsing. The facilities where excellent, with a very well stocked kitchen with everything needed for a long stay. Would encourage people to stay at this villa. The monkeys on a morning in the grounds was an added bonus. A car is not needed unless you want to travel to the far north or east coast of the island.

Relaxing Stay at Mango court

Just returning from a fantastic week at Mango Court - from the moment we arrived the holiday was amazing. The townhouse has loads of relaxing space for the whole famiy to chill out, without great outdoor areas, living space and generous bedrooms. The location is fantastic, just a few minutes walk from Alleynes Bay where you'll find amazing beaches, bars and The Lone Star. Mary the house manager greeted us when we arrived and was available with any queries - overall great holiday and will definately book again.

We had a great stay in Barbados. The water pressure was an issue (or lack thereof) since if anyone in the entire complex flushed the toilet while you were trying to shower, the water would stop. We were also disappointed that there was no direct access to the beach we had to lug our bags and kids north or south of where we were to get to the sand.

Other than that, the place was clean, and Mary is lovely. We would definitely come back to Barbados but perhaps stay closer to the beach next time.

The property is situated within just a few minutes walk of some of Barbados' most beautiful beaches featuring a fantastic selection of beach clubs offering the finest in beach cuisine, rum cocktails and a wide variety of water sports including sailing, scuba diving, surfing and kayaking amongst numerous others. The crystal clear waters and white sandy beaches are the idyllic setting for any family holiday.

Only a few minutes drive from Porters is the newly built exclusive Lime Grove Shopping center which has a wide variety of designer boutiques such as Louis Vuitton and Ralph Lauren and an exquisite selection of fine dining restaurants. The center also features a fantastic state of the art Cinema offering at least three screenings per day of the newest releases in English.

There are numerous traditional shattle houses in the area, which are ideal for spending an afternoon wondering round where visitors can purchase an excellent selection of handcrafted local goods. Every Sunday there is a quaint farmer's market with various stalls selling a wide range of local organic produce.

For those members of the family looking for some action, there are numerous golf courses in the area including the renowned Sandy lane and Royal Westmoreland Golf courses. There is also a fantastic Polo field at Holder's Hill where tournaments are held frequently and which have become a popular social gathering for many.

Barbados is divided into 11 parishes: Christ Church, Saint Andrew, Saint George, Saint James, Saint John, Saint Joseph, Saint Lucy, Saint Michael, Saint Peter, Saint Philip and Saint Thomas.

The parish of Saint James is an area located in the western central part of the country, increasingly becoming known as the playground of the rich and famous, and a haven for sun-starved tourists. In local colloquium, St. James was known as the 'Gold Coast', but due to its ongoing popularity it is now referred to as the 'Platinum Coast', reflective of the parishes many glitzy beach-front mansions, pristine beaches, luxury hotels and consistently high land prices. The parish also has great historic significance, as it was here that the first British settlers landed in 1625.

Coral reefs fringe the west coast shoreline to provide excellent snorkeling and Scuba Diving opportunities and the capital city and main shopping center of Bridgetown are an intriguing blend of Euro-bbean. Wooden fishing boats painted in the national colors of blue and yellow anchor in the shadow of large medieval-looking government buildings.

Something of a time warp, Bridgetown is very much a Caribbean island. Flying fish, one of the national symbols, are eaten in restaurants like hamburgers and afternoon tea is served, even on the beaches. St. James is the perfect base for anybody wishing to visit the island and discover the enchanting delights which Barbados has to offer.
