This house was exceptionally clean. As soon as we walked into the yard we noticed the outside fire pit, new grill and plenty of Adirondack chairs in both the yard and on the large deck. There are also party lights all around the fence which made it nice for outside entertaining. Location was great very close to restaurants and shopping. The owner was local and very nice having introduced herself when she saw us. She manages property that is close to the home yet we had total privacy and were never disturbed. Inside of house had everything from laundry detergent to paper plates. I would absolutely recommend this house.
Super cute house, nicely decorated. Comfy beds and nice plush towels. Enough space for everyone. We stayed here while our oldest son played at Cooperstown All Star Village, about 10 mins away. Perfect set up, we had our other 3 kids and my parents and it was great. Kids loved having a yard and the pool. Kids loved the upstairs room with 2 beds, worked perfect for them. Very easy arrival and departure. And obviously, it was fabulous having a washer and dryer! You don't have to pack as much! Lol.
Marie is great and very easy to get in touch with, if need be. We loved it and would definitely go back!
Exterior not good. Inside could use some updates. Overall, not too bad, but the surrounding area was terrible. It is part of a run down trailer park.
The house was a little smaller than it appeared to be on the pictures but was very neat and clean. Pool is very small, good for kids 10 and under. Owner was very nice and helpful when needed (only for directions to house). Very nice neighbors, one gentleman stopped by during our visit to say hello and even gave a tour of his 200 year old house to me.
We just returned from a week's stay. The house was really cute and beautifully decorated. We were in town for a baseball tourney and wanted to stay close to town and the All Star Village. Most of the rentals available appeared to have older, worn and heavily used furnishings that weren't appealing to me. Not this one! The owner has done a great job with updates and everything was clean and tidy. We had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. The deck was a nice spot to sit and have coffee while listening to the creek that ran beside the house. Our younger son enjoyed the fish aquarium. He named the big orange fish "Orange Juice." If we are ever back for another week of baseball, I wouldn't hesitate to book this house again.
We stayed here for a week in the fall. Very nice home. Owner was so accommodating. We enjoyed the beautiful deck at night with the party lights. We plan to stay again this year.
