This conveniently located and recently renovated three bedroom, three bath luxury condo with offers the guests beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico and and has a patio to sit and watch the family in the pool area while grilling. Painting, uplift and complete renovation and facelift was completed in this luxury condo during the Fall of 2013. Step out the sliding glass door to the patio to watch the perfect sunsets for which we are famous and for star gazing with your favorite beverage as well as sipping your coffee/tea in the morning. Enjoy the large picture windows and listen to the sounds of the rolling surf while enjoying the fabulous views of the Emerald Green Waters of the Gulf. Loved it!

Loved it! But the TV in the master bedroom needs to be updated. Extremely difficult to work.

We loved the other updates in the condo.

Owner's Response: I enjoyed meeting both of you and am sorry to hear you continued having trouble with the TV. As we discussed, many times older people who are used to the remotes they have at home get anxious when dealing with a new TV. This is a new flat screen TV with two remotes, one for the TV and the other for the cable provider. I personally came over and reset everything after many buttons had been pushed. Then I explained to only use the one remote to change channels which is not unusual. I will be happy to come show you again when you return.

A little Disappointed

Our stay started off with an almost hour late check-in, not by choice, but by the rental agents doing. The rental agent was very hard to get a hold of and always took about an hour to call back. Even with checking into the unit late, it was still not cleaned properly and ready. The sheets in one bedroom had not been washed (blood on them) and the sheets for another bedroom were still in the dryer. The unit had the hallway carpets thrown ontop of the beds of another room. The rental agent was not very concerned at all by any of this and just said I will get house keeping to come by. The air conditioner had frozen over and was not working for the first day and a half (leasing agent tried to act as if it was because we were opening the door and going in and out a lot). It was frozen when we checked in. The unit had fleas and the leasing agent wanted to spray while we were staying, but we had young children and the pesticide man said he would not feel comfortable doing that with his own children in the unit. The unit itself was a little more worn than I expected for the price. Only one tub out of the three bathrooms, so if you have two families with babies this is not so convenient. Complex was located steps from pool and beach which was great. We were just mainly disappointed in the professionalism of the rental agent and cleaning staff.

Owner's Response: These guests were traveling with small children and arrived very early in the day as the previous guests were departing. They wanted to remain at the property to use pool, etc. and we told them we would call them when their condo was ready. In an attempt to be accommodating although the condo was not quite ready, we met them to let them in since they had small children, and explained that housekeeping would be returning to finish a few things, get sheets out of dryer, remove soiled linens, etc. The A/C was frozen and there was a service technician there within a very short period of time. She said they travel with their own sheet sets anyway? She complained there were fleas. This was quite surprising as this is not a pet-friendly property. However, we quickly responded and she says we were trying to harm her children? This review shows quick responses each time we were contacted. The pest control technician verified there were no fleas identified but treated the condo anyway upon their departure. All guests who have visited prior to and since have truly enjoyed their vacation at this property.

Loved the rental and location

Our family loved the spacious walk-out condo at The Palms of Dune Allen. The pool, beautiful beach, and bike path were all just steps out the door. This was our first trip to the Scenic 30A area and we're looking forward to going back again.

What a great Mother's Day!

We had an absolutely wonderful time in this condo. South Walton beaches are our favorite and we especially love the biking and walking trail. The unit was very nice – great linens and bedding, comfortable and abundant seating, all appliances worked well and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever need. Though nice, not too nice so that we were nervous about having a toddler with us. The washer and dryer ran non-stop and both worked well. The location of the condo couldn’t have been more ideal for our family - the pool just steps off the patio and the beach not much farther. We absolutely loved our time there and didn’t want to leave!
