Our family has enjoyed the condo for several years during the winter seasons. We live, work and study in nearby Massachusetts but escape to our mountain home on as many weekends as possible.
Charlie Ko purchased this condo in 2009
We selected this home because of location, amenities, and accessibility for our family and friends.
The home is renovated throughout, but maintains its original charm. The interior is well maintained, bright, and clean.
Our family of 5 plus two grandparents had a wonderful vacation! We had plenty of room everyone had their own space (my 9 and 11 year old boys loved the bunk room and the loft, the grandparents enjoyed the living area in the basement, and my husband, myself and our 15 month old loved relaxing on the extremely comfortable couch and watching the large tv on the main floor). The condo is beautifully updated and very clean. We have stayed in multiple condos in The area over the last 10 years and this has been the nicest by far. The owner Charlie was great to rent from. I would recommend you give this condo a try you will not be disappointed.
It was great booking this mountain treasure with Charlie.
My husband and I enjoyed his home with our 6 year old twins for nine nights. We enjoyed the many 6 year old destinations with ease - Clark's Trading Post (just around the corner), Santa's Village, Storyland (each under an hour's drive), many summer activities at Loon Mountain (just across Rte 112) - and had time to enjoy the unmatched facilities at the Village of Loon. Outdoors there are two large swimming pools, a kiddie pool and hot tub. There are also two swimming pools, three hot tubs and a fitness club with modern equipment indoors. Within the indoor facility, we also enjoyed introducing the kids to playing pool, checkers, a lending library and various video games. In the main welcome center, there is a schedule of events and weekly information posted and the folks working there are very friendly and helpful. Connected to the main welcome center is a game room with more pool tables, table soccer and video games. There are also multiple beautiful tennis courts lined up against the dramatic backdrop of Loon Mountain that the entire recreation center enjoys.
As for the condo itself...we can not say enough. There was more than enough room for our family of four. The entire condo would be perfect for two families of four. We primarily used the upper two levels. Our kids loved having their own "clubhouse" which included their bunk room, bathroom and computer/game loft with a couch. They also enjoyed the lower level with its own television and space for board games, puzzles, jenga, jacks and pick up sticks (mum is a throwback game fanatic!)
The main area of this home is a treat. We all spent most of our time here enjoying the big screen electronic TV, but most especially the big screen Nature TV. The picture windows at this level and the lower level afford gorgeous views of Loon Mountain. The living, dining and kitchen areas are perfectly integrated to allow perfect family interaction.
The kitchen is fully stocked. We find that we cook outdoors for most of the summer, so the outdoor gas grill was perfect. The modern, open concept on this level suited our family perfectly.
We enjoyed morning walks around the Village of Loon. We enjoyed meeting friendly folks and especially enjoyed one home where our daughter would stand in awe at the flock of hummingbirds feeding at 5 feeders in the morning sun (I did too!). We look forward to our next visit.
