Beautiful house-fully equipped

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful home on a lovely peaceful lake. The neighborhood was a very nice dead end street which was quiet. The backyard was serene and the sunsets were lovely. Very nice dock and deck area. The inside of the house was decorated beautifully in a nice beach theme. House was fully equipped with everything you could want or need to make your stay comfortable. One of the best rental houses we have ever stayed in.

Happiest place on earth for me.

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay at this property. We already have it booked for another week as well and hope the owner keeps it forever so we never have to stay anywhere else.

During our first stay, we more or less use the house as home base, and went to see the sights in the area. However, this time, we were there to celebrate my son's college graduation as a family. We more or less hung around the house, play games, watch movies, and enjoyed each other's company.

As stated in my earlier review, there's absolutely nothing about this place that could possibly be improved. Everything you need is at your fingertips, the hustle and bustle of the resort are nearby, but when you're at this house, you're a world away.

The only downside of leaving a fantastic review is that more people will find out about this place and I'll have more competition when I want to vacation there. That said, it would be selfish of me not to share what I know about this property....which is that it is a slice of heaven on earth. If you stay, be sure to take excellent care of the place. These owners are top notch and they deserve to have the or property respected.

Only one problem: I'm not still there!

  • 5 of 5

My family has rented quite a few vacation homes over the years, but none as well appointed as this.

So many vacation rentals show the wear and tear of having withstood tenant after tenant. This isn't one of them. It does not feel like a “rental property.” It's more like a very good friend tossed you the keys to his shore house and said, "Hey, go enjoy yourself, just make sure you lock up when you leave."

First, there’s the view. I’m never happier than when I'm within a stone’s throw of salt water, and you can not beat this property for that. There is a gorgeous water view from every common area window. Walk into the master bedroom on a sunny afternoon and watch those white curtains blowing gently in the sunshine – so, so relaxing. I sat on the edge of the bed and watched a hummingbird inspect the rose of sharon bush just outside the window….what peace! The area is amazingly quiet.

The home is impeccably clean and comfortable. The owners have thought of, and give renters access to, just about everything anyone might need to enjoy a week at the shore. There is a helpful binder full of tips, brochures, and menus. There are beach amenities to borrow, a closet full of party games, extra blankets, and crabbing supplies alongside the propert. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of flatware, plates, glasses, pots and pans, utensils and small appliances, not to mention countless other little conveniences that turn up here and there throughout the house, evidencing a sincere desire on behalf of the owners to make their guests feel comfortable and at home.

If you’re a crabber, you’re in luck. Plenty of action out there on the dock (if you can get the seagulls to find somewhere else to hold their daily conventions, that is. They do love that dock).

I've stayed in so many places where it was clear that the owner only cared to make money on their investment, and really didn't give a rat's behind whether the tenants enjoyed their stay or ever came back. This is most definitely NOT one of those places.

The only down side is that it's so very hard to leave, but it's also very easy to dream of returning. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to have stayed here and are looking forward to coming back again. Thank you so much!

Lovely Stay!

We had a fantastic time; the house had everything you possible need – truly a home away from home! Pictures just don't do the place justice. Enjoyed colorful sunsets every evening. Peaceful relaxing get away.

Wonderful rental on the bay

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at this home on rehoboth bay. The owner is really organized, and the whole process was a breeze. They were very thoughtful about fully stocking the home, so that the renters have a comfortable stay. Thanks for the crab traps, it was lots of fun crabbing right off the dock. We rented kayaks and had a wonderful time, so peaceful and the girls loved exploring nature and wildlife. Early morning yoga on the dock was total serenity! Thank you!

My family and I had a fabulous time. Everthing is very close if you even need to leave. After my morning coffe I kayaked in the calm mornings. The crabbing from the dock was bountiful, we had crabs every night. The rental was extremely clean and stocked better than other rental we have ever had. Thank you!!
