Let this excellent chalet near Mount Hood be your family’s new favorite ski retreat! Sleeping up to six guests in three gorgeous bedrooms, this cute townhouse is perfect for you and any lucky tagalongs. You'll even have your very own private deck!
Located less than a mile from Government Camp, OR, this condo at Collins Lake is luxurious, spacious, and lovely. Though the main draw of this condo is undoubtedly its proximity to the slopes, you can’t miss a visit during the summer months!
The kitchen is perfect for making small meals between trips to the slopes, but don’t miss out on all of the great restaurants in Government Camp. If you do choose to stay at home, there is a dining table with six seats for sitting around and chatting with your friends and family. There are even a few stools at the breakfast bar.
Relax in one of the comfy couches in the living room, and cozy up in front of the gas fireplace, watching something on the large flatscreen cable TV.
At bedtime, make your way upstairs where you’ll find three lovely bedrooms. The master has a gorgeous queen-size bed and en suite bathroom. A second bedroom has a queen-size bed! The third and final bedroom has a two-twin bunk bed. All of the bedrooms also have their own TVs, but don’t stay up too late - you’ll want to wake up early to get to the slopes or trails! Besides the master bathroom, there is also another full bathroom and one half-bathroom.
This home also has free WiFi, a shared pool and hot tub, and a private washer/dryer to wash your things after spending the day on the slopes. At the end of a long day, you'll love relaxing outside on the private deck.
In the winter, head on over to the Collins Lake clubhouse and enjoy a good book in front of the lovely stone fireplace, or have a day of relaxation in the shared hot tub, sauna, and pool. When it’s time to go skiing, everyone will love the slopes at Mount Hood Meadows, or really any of the other ski areas in the area. In the summer, plenty of trails and picnic areas make the area around Collins Lake verdant and lovely. Pack a lunch, and find a pretty spot to sit down and eat during your hike.
Whether you visit during the summer or winter, you are sure to have fun at this wonderful condo near Mount Hood!
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a websitecould be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Enjoyed staying in the area and was happy with this accommodation.
Location is wonderful, place was neat and clean, all the amenities were provided, Kitchen was fully stocked. Living room has big LCD TV and my Only recommendation is to provide HD channels as SD picture looked bad on that big TV. Overall we both had pleasant stay.
Our stay was very pleasant. The condo was very convenient for adults who want to attend the HCSC. We had plenty of room to spread our gear around and not trip over it like the local hotels/motels for pretty close to the same price. The hot tub/pool area is a nice treat after a day on the mountain and was very clean. The grill is a nice amenity and all the major cooking tools are stocked in the kitchen. Internet worked great. Smart TV worked great. The "third bedroom" which has bunk beds does not have a window so it can get overheated in summer. Our guest slept on the couch downstairs instead and was very comfortable.
this was a totally cool spot to stay, nice and close to town.
Nice and clean, well supplied, close to everything at Hood...
I would stay again....
some negatives; heater really heats up the upstairs and the rest stays cool. I have stayed in other condos in this complex and all have thin walls. You can hear the neighbors way too well. Other than that... it was great.
