Why J.D. chose San Diego

I bought in this location because I love downtown San Diego. This home was selected because it is one of the few single family homes downtown. That meant I could paint it bright green and rent it weekly without the worry of a home owner's association. The interesting style of these homes won numerous awards for the builder. It features tilt up concrete construction. I also liked the fact that the garage is attached and I do not have to go through a public elevator to get into the unit.

What makes this house unique

Attached garage single family home not a condo, there is no home association to worry about. Every condo association in downtown prohibits vacation rentals of less 30 days, people do it anyway but my tenants do not have that worry.

Beautifully furnished; great location

We rented this row home for a 3-night girls weekend in San Diego, and it was perfect. Beautiful modern decor, 3-levels, large TVs in every room, patio w/ BBQ on the top floor, and easily slept the 4-5 of us in the 2 bedrooms and 2 sofa-beds. The owner, JD, was very friendly, making sure we had everything we needed.

But best of all was the location -- walking distance to all the Gaslamp and East Village restaurants, bars, shopping and nightlife. And quick Uber or Lyft ride to Little Italy or other locations. Favorites were Cowboy Star and Herb & Wood for dinner, and rooftop bar Pool House at the beautiful Pendry Hotel for drinks (we were there for the Grand Opening!) We took long walks along the bay/Seaport Village nearly every morning, which was wonderful. Definitely recommend for a downtown San Diego stay!

Beautifully decorated condo near Gaslamp Quarter

Great downtown location, only blocks from fun restaurants in Gaslamp Quarter. This three story condo is modernly decorated with lots of fun touches. Nice, large tvs in each room. Owner gives detailed instructions on how to operate everything in the condo and is easily reachable if needed. It was nice to have our own garage to park our car since it is in a busy area.

Stylish pad in a great location

This is a well equipped and decorated (very masculine) townhouse. The location is perfect for walking anywhere in gaslamp and east districts. Dealing with the owner was easy, he provided comprehensive instructions, right down to a video on how to park in the garage!
