I am a photographer/entrepreneur with a a beautiful and spacious fourth-floor 2-bedroom condo in East Village - one room which I rent out on a regular basis to responsible, mature adults who'd like a gorgeous place to stay while visiting Manhattan but think that paying $350 a night for a hotel is insane. I travel often however; when I am not traveling I stay in the second bedroom - please inquire within to see about availability.
About the Room:
This is a private room with a very comfortable queen bed for guests. The room includes fresh linens and towels, soap & shampoo, breakfast snacks, hairdryer, coffee & tea, kettle, wifi, air conditioning unit, heat, and access to all common areas to use at your leisure including kitchen, large flatscreen tv, and bathroom.
I also have 3 cats - Maggy, Lucy, & Zoe. They're well behaved, super fun and lovable - and they'll expect you to treat them the same. When I am traveling, I have someone who comes in daily to feed the cats or some guests agree to feed/look after them for me - entirely upto my guests.
I've hosted guests from all over the world and I enjoy helping them to explore this great city and make the most of their stay while here.
About the Neighborhood:
If you've ever wanted to experience the New York City this is a perfect way to do it! Spend your stay in one of the coolest and most unique neighborhoods in NYC - the East Village! The original home of the Hipster, the East Village is filled with artists and musicians, and is one of the most colorful and culturally diverse neighborhoods in the city. The apartment is on a great block with lots of new restaurants and bars popping up all around and is surrounded by coffee shops and outdoor cafe's (weather permitting). The subway is only 2 short blocks away making it very easy and convenient to explore the rest of the city.
1 block from the L Train and close to Union Square (all subway lines R/Q/N/4/5/6/L), Lower East Side, Soho, and only 1 stop from Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Two blocks from Thompkins Square Park and three blocks from East River which is great for jogging or walking. Restaurants, bars, and coffee shops galore (Westville, Back Forty, Northern Spy Co., Ost Cafe, Ciao for Now, Kotobuki, Motorino). The East Village is one of the best neighborhoods in NYC for Ethnic Food. There is a full service laundromat in the same building.
This apartment is located on the forth floor of a walk up.
