Starfish Dreams is the perfect place to start your vacation!
This family-friendly vacation rental is centrally located on Pine Avenue in the city of Anna Maria on Anna Maria Island, halfway between the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa Bay. If that were not enough, it also has a heated pool and is on a canal.
This two-bedroom, two-bath home has been completely updated with tile floors, solid surface countertops, and comfortable furnishings. The open and airy living area offers sliders onto a screened balcony/lanai, which runs the length of the house. The views from the balcony/lanai encompass the pool and the canal. The master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed and the second bedroom has two full beds. For your convenience, wireless internet access, cable television, a washer and dryer, and a two-car garage are included in this great rental home package.
For the boating enthusiast, the dock can accommodate up to a 21-foot boat and is equipped with two Jet Ski docks. There is also an 8000 lb. boat lift that may be used for an additional fee. The canal is a favorite hang-out for the local manatees and they can often be seen at high tide.
When you are ready to explore the island, you can hop on board the free AMI trolley that runs daily along the island and has a stop just a few steps from your door.

Having stayed on AMI before, we knew that we would love the island, but the location of this home made our trip even more successful. The property is on Pine Avenue, so walking distance to both coast lines and plenty of boutiques to while away the hours. The home was spacious and plenty big enough for a family of four. The outside space was generous and the pool and the amazing view made us feel blessed to be here. We will most certainly be back to AMI and would definitely rent this property again.
I found Starfish Dreams on VRBO and fell in love with the pictures, but I was hesitant because there were no reviews. I'm so glad I went ahead and booked this place! Everything looked just like the pictures. The view was amazing, the pool was perfect, and the place was very clean and well stocked, including being stocked with a ton of towels. There are also a lot of pool and beach toys in the garage, including rafts. There was a baby gate in the garage that could have been used for the stairs, but our 18 month old stayed away from them except for when one of us was going up/down with her, so we didn't use it. We also brought our dog and he enjoyed the back yard, which is fenced to the water. There was no way for him to get out. We had a friend take my husband out fishing on their boat a few times and the redfish and snook were abundant. And the water was beautiful. There are a lot of places within walking distance, an ice cream shop, frozen yogurt shop, stores, restaurants, and the beach. The Sandbar Restaurant was great, but a little over priced for the amount of food you get. We had breakfast at The Relish (across the street) and Minnie's Beach Café, both were great. We had dinner at Feeling Swell, kind of a dive, but great burgers and wings. We ended up eating at The Feast three times, everything was so delicious, and you got great portions for the price. We loved our trip so much, we didn't want to come home. This really is an amazing house! I would definitely stay here again!
