This is a dream home not to be missed! For excellent skiing, Mount Snow is less than 2 miles away.
Romantic, cozy, charming, one-of-a-kind log house nestled in a very private, wooded, secluded setting on a mountain overlooking Mt. Snow.
Beautiful, custom designed and unique, this fabulous home offers a true sense of the romance that is Vermont. This 4-bedroom, 2 full bath home has been privately owned by one family (mine!) since it was built. The real magic comes from enjoying our wood-burning fireplace after a day of skiing, antiquing, hiking or exploring the beautiful area.
If you're looking for a magnificent, authentic log cabin experience, look no further! My home is truly a sliver of paradise. Set on a country road with complete privacy, yet only 2 miles to Mount Snow, 1/2 mile to the golf course and airport, 1/2 mile to a movie theater and 1/4 mile to several restaurants and bars!
In the summer of 2015, we completed a touch-up of the entire outside of the house. Power washing, caulking, staining, rebuilding the side porch and more. It looks beautiful!
2 full bathrooms
Very large front deck and a side porch – both very private and spacious. Front porch has a generous table for outdoor dining. The living room is comfortable and cozy with a gorgeous fireplace and big couch.

Upstairs has 3 bedrooms, 2 of which are generous in size. The 2 large bedrooms each have 2 twin beds. The third bedroom has a queen-sized bed.
Upstairs bathroom is a full, standard bathroom with shower / tub.
Large open dining room, living room and kitchen area all with a view of the roaring fireplace and picture windows with magnificent views of the surrounding hillside and lush vegetation. Small hill for children's sledding right out front!
TV and DVD player in living room
The house is half a mile away from the Mount Snow Golf Course, an 18-hole championship course that was rated one of the top five in the state by Golf Digest. It has also been named one of the top 10 resort courses in the country by SKI Magazine.
Hiking, mountain biking and chairlift rides to the top of the mountain at Mt. Snow. The quaint village of Wilmington is an easy 10 minute drive and full of fun Vermont activities such as a large flea market, antique shops and clothing boutiques. Additionally, find horseback riding, berry picking and walking trails just minutes from the house.
All of this creates an unforgettable experience of being in Vermont.
My family built the house in 1978 and we have been the sole owners. We truly adore this house and you will, too.
Come see what my family and friends have loved for years...take away your own wonderful memories!
