Provincetown Bay is a 10 minute walk or a 5 minute bike ride down off Commercial Street. Herring Cove Beach is a 5 minute drive or a 10 minute bike ride to the parking lot. Herring Cove Beach is the most popular beach in Provincetown, this bayside beach has placid waters ideal for a relaxing swimming experience--no undertow and water that is always warmer than at Race Point. Traditionally the right hand side of the beach is considered more family oriented, while the left is more gay-friendly. If you want to avoid the crowds walk north towards Hatches Harbor. You may even see whales breaching or seals basking in the sun. Stay until sunset- this is the place to be for a spectacular view. The sunsets at Herring Cove are unparalleled on the entire Cape, since the sun actually seems to set into the ocean, unusual for the east coast.

Great Place to stay in PTown!

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wild Blue Yonder. Keith has a great home that is in walking distance to everything. The inside is cozy and clean and the outside offers a great place to sit, relax and take in the day. Although it rained most of our stay, we still were able to sit out under the big umbrella and enjoy the private yard. Next time we head to PTown we hope to visit again. Thank you Keith.

Cozy, Peaceful Cottage

  • 5 of 5

We totally enjoyed our week at this lovely little cottage! It was just right for the 2 of us. We liked being near enough to walk to downtown, yet far away enough to be quiet, also. Since we had a week of awesome weather, our favorite place was the comfy outdoor patio set - a place to relax, read, nap or have a glass of wine -- within the peaceful space of the enclosed yard. The decor inside was tranquil and the kitchen provided everything to be able to throw together a simple meal. Just the best!

Perfect for a couple's getaway

  • 5 of 5

This cottage met, then exceeded our expectations. Very private, quiet, and convenient to everything. As Ptown old hats, we try lots of different places, and will be sure to come back. Keith has created a cute, cozy, clean, and comfortable experience in Ptown.

Can I Move in Permanently?

  • 5 of 5

I have not ever been to this sweet cottage, but I have fallen in love with it, and yes, also with the owner -- at least his vibe. Great photos, nicely written description, and a beautful sensitivity to what guests will wonder while "shopping". Like telling folks that there is not a closet or dresser for the living room sofa-bed dweller. "Just sayin'." Really nice. I really hope I get to stay there with my friend in a couple of weeks on the 17th, but even if not, I'm a fan of this owner and his cottage.
