Description was 100% accurate and the listing was perfect! We came in for a show and this location was great. Ten min or so walk from the merchandise mart which is exactly what we were looking for. Everybody at Chicago Premier was helpful and very responsive. Would definitely stay again.
First off, the management team that handled our stay was terrific. Highly responsive and very helpful. The condo unit was in fabulous condition. Clean, high-end finishes and weekly cleaning service. The 9th floor health facilities were outstanding, never too crowded, plenty of equipment and space. The doormen were always helpful and upbeat. Only negative was that the local fire department was 2 blocks away, so lots of sirens at all times of the day. Proximity to restaurants and shopping was over the top. Location, location, location...
We and another couple stayed in this 17th floor apartment for a week. It was clean, well appointed and well supplied. The living room was a comfortable size with a balcony and a nice view looking west. We were only three blocks from Michigan Avenue and we were able to walk the entire downtown area, from the River North area to the Navy Pier, to the Millennium Park and the Art Institute and north in the direction of the John Hancock Tower. The supermarket on the street level of the building was very helpful and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from that were within walking distance. We were also very pleased working with Jean Coatar at Chicago Premier Suites. We had an issue while were in the process of booking the apartment and Jean was very helpful in straightening out the matter. We did mention to Jean that the bed in the second bedroom, which was listed as a queen, was actually a double. Otherwise everything that was described in the listing was accurate. We would definitely stay here again and strongly recommend the unit and the City of Chicago to anyone thinking of traveling there.
The condo is exactly as described. It is very clean, well equipped and the view of the city is breathtaking. The grocery store on the main floor is a large supermarket with a deli. the store is stocked with everything you could possibly require. A block from the Redline which can take you out of the downtown core without much effort. Directly to Wrigley Field! The exercise room, pool and BBQ area were spotless with lovely individual tables and chairs. Small running track adjacent to the pool was a nice surprise. Very much a high end resort feeling. The management answered all inquiries immediately. Would recommend Andy's Jazz Club (2.5 blks) make reservations. This property is quiet and suitable for all ages. This was our first trip to Chicago, would love to go back.
We are so glad that we decided to stay in this spacious condo instead of booking a hotel. The price was comparable to the hotel but the 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, living and dining area was just what we needed for our family. We have 2 young kids and they loved to play hide and seek. They certainly had plenty of places to hide!
We did have a few foggy days but when it was clear, it was a nice view from our patio doors. There is a fully stocked grocery store a few steps from the front door so is was an easy trip while raining. This was a bonus since we could cook a few meals without having to go out to eat. There are some nice restaurants nearby and the kids loved the Rainforest Café a block away. Navy Pier, only a few blocks away, is a great place to catch a Riverboat tour.
The check in and check out process was easy and everything we needed was there; nice towels, comfortable sheets (not the scratchy hotel kind), dishes, full kitchen and laundry. We were very pleased with our choice to stay here and will do again the next time we visit Chicago. We have told a few people about it already and we would recommend it to anyone that may read this. Don’t get the hotel, get the condo and have some space to relax and enjoy.
Beautiful location and room. High-end furnishings and great to have grocery downstairs. The only recommendation I have is maybe get some sturdier chairs/bar stools in the dining area. A few of them were a little rickety. Close to a perfect setup overall.
