Why Jason Redman---Owner chose Tennessee

We love the Pigeon Forge area!! The location is private but also very close to Gatlinburg and Dollywood (minutes) and any other mountain attractions you would enjoy. This location is central to almost everything

What makes this cabin unique

This Cabin is PERFECT for a couple needing to get away or for a few entire families to enjoy. The cabin has the perfect floor plan for adults upstairs and kids in the pool table and gameroom area downstairs. A keurig coffee maker is perfect for a cup of coffee on the deck enjoying the mountain view in the morning.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Perfect for family or friends!

  • 5 of 5

This house was exactly what me and my friends were looking for as a weekend getaway to the mountains! Second year in a row we have chosen this home. Rooms are large with comfortable beds, awesome living area, and the hot tub is always a big hit no matter the weather. My favorite feature is the view from each of the three balconies! The house is easy to find and close to downtown Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge with tons of things to do! In season, it's also just a short drive for skiing. Couldn't have asked for anything more for a mountain weekend home! Will return.

A Great Cabin

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful 4 day stay at the cabin and had a wonderful time. The cabin was great. Very clean and well maintained and lots of space. Really enjoyed the hot tub after walking around Pigeon Forge all day. We had an awesome time at Dollywood (it was less than a ten minute drive to the park). Need to come back in the winter so I can try some skiing. I would recommend this as a great place to stay

Satisfactory stay

  • 2 of 5

I have never left a review, but felt compelled to write one for this stay. First things first, please be sure to verify the information on the check-in instructions if you choose to stay here. The owner needs to revise them (specifically when it comes to the directions saying go left at the fork. If you go left at the fork, you will bypass the entry spot where you enter the code, then you will have made it up a steep incline and be stuck at the gate. You will then enter the code specified by the instructions and it will be incorrect, so you will park your car *barely* outside of the cabin and look at the trash leftover from the people before.

My experience:

* Refrigerator leaked at the bottom

* The bed on the first floor had dirty sheets

* No working lamps? I don't understand this - seemed like no lamps worked, some didn't even have light bulbs.

* Toilets had rust stains or residual hard water stains - regardless they were dirty

* Hot tub - dirtttttty. Looked green in one light and Brown in another. I was looking forward to this, and was disappointed.

* It is very loud as to be expected with multiple floors, which makes it hard for little ones.

* I've stayed in many cabins, but the drive up is incredibly steep, and the parking is terrible! You barely can pull your car (2 if that) in this small inclinish spot. Everyone had their cars in low gears coming up the hill, some cars didn't sound like they were going to make it.

* You are looking out to the main road, so if you want to sit and enjoy peace and quiet, this cabin you can hear road traffic.

I was hopeful that the things people complained about in the past would have been resolved, but not so..which makes me believe this cabin owner doesn't care about your stay at all here. The cabin instruction sheet was full of mispellings and grammatical errors - and wrong information.

The weather was amazing, and we made the best of it, but I'd prefer not to stay here again.

Owner's Response: Rebekah, i am terribly sorry you did not have a great experience. The check in codes had expired but I answered your call immediately and gave you the correct codes. My cleaning lady had a death in the family and I have to get a last minute substitution and I am very sorry that the cabin was not up to your (or my) standards. this is unacceptable and all of these items have been corrected today. I have not has a complaint on directions in the last 3 years but I will revise them immediately to avoid any further confusion on getting to the cabin. The cabin is in the mountains so most guest expect steep drives but I apologize you had to use low gear in your cars. I would loved to have been able to correct some of these things on your first day.

Exceptionally well maintained

  • 5 of 5

After a long drive through traffic we got to the cabin and was real happy that everything was in order and clean. The cabin was exceptionally well maintained and everything looked brand new (to include the towels). The next morning I got up early to watch the sunrise which also did not disappoint. Real quiet area and well worth the drive. Proximity to attractions was also a plus and gave us more time to enjoy the trip. Will book property again.
