Really neat place with a lot of space and a ton of history. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again.
Thouroghly enjoyed the history of the house and all it had to offer. Spacious bedrooms and living room allowed everyone to be comfortable. Plenty of chairs on the patio to kick back and relax. Great location to access key locations within 30 min. Thank you for the grill! It was the icing on the cake.
Our family stayed together at the Hart-Featherston house when we came to Lexington for my daughter's wedding. We stayed 4 nights. My memories of our time will include family stories & laughter around the dining room table, baking pies for the reception with my daughters in the lovely kitchen, more family stories on the back porch in the evenings, and enjoying early morning coffee on the back porch while I watched the butterflies dart through the trees. We will all take away wonderful memories of our time together. The house was exactly what we hoped it would be, and everyone was delighted with their stay.
Lovely well maintained property with plenty of character and charm. There were great modern day things like wifi, TV, DVDs player, coffee makers etc. Really enjoyed the equipped kitchen with basics such as cereal, butter, dressings etc in the fridge. Little touches like that make the difference. The porch off the kitchen was lovely and one felt like it was in the country. Loved the decorations around the house. Had great stay and will certainly be coming back again.
We had 4 couples and plenty of room. It was in a great location for or trip to Keeneland. I was a little surprised to find it in a subdivision but that didn't take away from how nice the house was and very historic. We will definitely try and return!
So many beautiful bedrooms and fireplaces! We could not make up our mind between the first floor master and the upstairs suite. We ended up sleeping downstairs but also trying out both the gorgeous downstairs master bath with tub AND the modern glass shower upstairs. The dining room was so pretty and we loved reading about the history of the home. Daniel Boone MAY have slept there!
A perfect week in the horse capital of the world !
Loved the personality of the home from the porch where you can listen to nature while drinking your coffee to the kitchen with all the amenities for a chef.
The details through out that make you feel like you walking back in time but with modern day comforts.
So close to downtown Lexington and Keenland
Left feeling rejuvenated and so relaxed ! Will be back soon.
Thank you !
