We spent about 7 weeks here over two summers. This house has wonderful character and is extremely well-maintained by the family who owns it. While not fussy or fancy, the place is clean as well as comfortably and lovingly furnished--it's an authentic farmhouse with authentic charm. Everything is in good repair. There are plenty of good-quality linens and the kitchen is fully stocked. We have made wonderful jam from the blackberry bushes both years. This is a great place to stay.
We spent 3 winters in the farm house and loved every moment. The farmhouse feel with the cozy family room fireplace and large eating area made for many special family meals. Plenty of room for the family and many guests. The quiet setting and beautiful property brought snow shoeing and xcountry skiing. The kids loved the sledding right out the back door. We spent Christmas in the house and will always remember how special it was. It was our home away from home and we loved it for its history and for what it means to the family that owns it.
