Just returned from a fantastic family vacation! Can't say enough about this house and its location! Walk to be beaches, Plum Island lighthouse and just meander the little lanes. Beautiful breezes through the windows and my favorite is a water view every morning! The house is beautifully appointed and equipped with EVERYTHING you could possibly need. So easy to work in this kitchen, from packing the cooler for the beach, or a gourmet meal! Outside area for lounging and grilling as well. Would go back in a heartbeat!!!
My family and I have been coming to Plum Island for 20 years and we were lucky to find this beautiful home to stay at for the week! When we walked in we fell in love with the layout and the cleanliness of the home! Patti really put thought into what a family would need to enjoy a week at the beach! Just laying in the yard soaking in the sun then having a nice dinner outdoors or inside was perfect! The views of the basin were beautiful and of course the beautiful beach is just minutes away. We also were a few minutes from town where we had some delicious fresh seafood (The Grogg, Michaels, Starboard Galley and of course Bob Lobster) We also took a train ride to Boston for the day (the train station is just about 10 minute drive) and had a wonderful time! I think Patti does an incredible job making you feel at home and relaxed!! LOVED THIS HOUSE We'll be back Olga Verhoef
What a great house! We gathered up the family from Indiana and Arizona and came to stay on the island for the week. Only one problem.....we needed another week! Or even more! The goal was to bring the rest of our family together for a reunion. Wow what memories were made! This house so clean was the perfect setting for our fulfilled week. Not to mention we had the best weather, so beach sunrises to basin sunsets were right there! Ideal for bike rides, kayaking ,plane rides, shopping, restaurants, etc! The owners were awesome in providing us with all the necessities we needed and more. We recommend this property and give it an A+!
With much thanks from,
Indiana and Arizona

Its close to shopping and attractions, We went to Salem its a little over a hour away and New Hampshire is 15 minutes up the road. And dont forget the fishing boat on the island we had a blast!!!

Best of both worlds! You can cross the street and go to the quiet warmer waters of the Basin Beach or walk to the ocean side of the island and enjoy 7 miles of sandy beach. Visit the Light House and Fishing Pier at one end of the island, the Wildlife Refuge at the other end. Enjoy our eclectic restaurants on the island or drive 10 minutes to downtown Newburyport to enjoy one of many ethnic restaurants, local live theater, stroll the sea side boardwalk and visit the many shops and art galleries. Enjoy Yankee Homecoming Weekend the end of July-beginning of August. Drive or take the train to Boston in just an hour. Drive North to visit Maine or New Hampshire.
