This property has a 180 degree view of the Hilton Hawaiian Village Lagoon all the way to Magic Island with the Yacht Harbor's water's edge 30'+ directly in front. The Ilikai Marina is known for one of the best locations and safest places to stay at in Waikiki. It also has an above street walkway to “The Modern,” which has an excellent restaurant with stunning views as well as a cocktail lounge.

This unit is excellent value for the location. It has an older Hawaiiana style but nevertheless charming and very clean. The price reflects this as it is one of the least expensive units in the building making it a great deal and giving you extra room to spend your money on your Hawaiian adventure such as a sailing trip, a surf lesson, a snorkeling tour, a dive, a parasail adventure or even a Luau!

Awesome View

This condo was exactly as described. I stayed across Ala Moana Blvd. prior to staying here because I needed a 2 bedroom. It was very noisy over there. That was not the case here. It was extremely quite. I couldn't believe I was still in the city. The beach was only steps away and I could watch the fireworks from the lanai. Everything is close by and within walking distance, even the Ala Moan Mall. I highly recommend this condo.

Great views

Comfortable, a little away from shops. Building and apartment in parts (kitchen and bathroom) a bit dated. But we had a great vacation.

Beautiful holiday!

This was our third trip to Honolulu, so we knew the area, so we also knew this condo was our best option,, and so it was! We were not disappointed! First of all, John is a great host. He always answered our questions and helped us in everything we needed. The apartment is very well equipped and clean, and has everything you need to enjoy your holiday even stuff for the beach! It´s no doubt, the view is unique and indescribable and leaves you speechless. As a viewer, I have to say that the condo has the best location to watch the fireworks from the Hilton and we were lucky to have the best location also to watch the fireworks at Ala Moena Beach Park in July 4th! While the condo is in a noisy area, you hear absolutely nothing in the 15th floor. In addition, Ala Moena Shopping Center is close to the condo, as well as the best places, shops and restaurants of Waikiki. No doubt, it was a wonderful experience and we will not hesitate to stay in this condo when we come back to Honolulu. Mahalo John!

A Little Home Away from Home.

Let me start by saying that we use VRBO a lot and have never been disappointed. Thankfully that didn't change with this wonderful choice at the Marina in Honolulu. Let's be clear. This isn't a brand new flat and we didn't expect one. It is homey and cozy and felt very, very comfortable. It is at the North end of Waikiki Beach and you avoid most of the touristy traps. It is a short stroll to the Ala Moana Centre, four minutes. There is a fabulous pub on the corner of the building, The Harbor Pub and Pizza, that we almost moved into. Great breakfasts and lunches for very reasonable prices. This flat is walking distance to just about everywhere and buses are right at the corner. It was very quiet and is a corner unit. Is this flat flawless? No. But it is very clean and everything worked well. And for the price is, in my opinion, amazing. The view from both the bedroom and living room is breathtaking. The security personnel , especially Vincent, were friendly and really helpful. My Mother-in-law stayed at the Hilton Village (also a short walk away) for approximately $250 a night and it wasn't a patch on this apartment. John, the manager, was absolutely delightful and couldn't have been more helpful. Just a lovely guy. We highly recommend this flat to anyone and will definitely use it again on our next trip to Honolulu. Thanks, John, for all your help and for giving us such a lovely, comfy space to stay in.

Great location/view/clean - dilapidated throughout

We spent 16 days and endured 8 of them with jack hammers from 7am-5pm. We had not been warned of building renovation. The contractors locked us out twice. Though clean, this condo from furniture to kitchen is very worn out. The tv is new. We cooked breakfast and dinner struggling with a lack of kitchen essentials like pot holders, can opener, measuring cup, large bowls, and a lack of pans. Our bathroom sink stopper went down and never came up until taken out after 2 days. The shower barely drains and the shower head sprays everywhere. We enjoyed activities and the fire works. This condo has become a funny story. Our first bad experience with a vrbo rental after renting many. All other reviews for this condo are 5 star positive. We depend on honest reviews and wanted future Renters to know of the reality. This is our first bad review.

The shower head, drain & sink has been completely taken care of! There is construction going on in the building & we were NOT give proper advance notice that this was going to be done! We always provide five star service to all of our guests! This has Never happened before & will never happen again.
