Overview

About the property

House, 6 Bedrooms + Loft, 6.5 Baths, (Sleeps 24-29)

This is a 6 bedroom recreation property that will allow you and your guests their own privacy. Each room is designed as a suite, with its own full bathroom and large closet.

It also has plenty of common area in two separate livings rooms with 52-inch flat screen TV's. There is a loft area for children to play and sleep on the floor, or on one of the two futon couches.

A large family kitchen is fully stocked and there are two full-size refrigerators to accommodate large groups and family gatherings.

Have a drink and relax on the deck or patio while grilling on the BBQ, overlooking Bear Lake, and watching the kids play in the fully landscaped yard.

The location is about a block away from the beach but it does not have direct beach access. There is a jogging/biking trail just outside your front door that goes around the lake and your backyard is the beautiful Wasatch mountains.

This is a perfect location right in town, close to walking paths, shops, restaurants, and the famous Pickleville Playhouse and other recreational activities.

The Bear Lake Area has been called the 'Caribbean of the Rockies' because of its intense turquoise blue water.

The Bear Lake valley offers all four of nature's seasons. There are many recreational activities available. In the summer you can jet ski across the turquoise water, sail into the sunset, or just enjoy a picnic at the beach. You can enjoy trolling for huge mackinaw or cutthroat trout in Bear Lake, or fly fishing for smaller brook or rainbow trout in the many local mountain streams. In the fall you can enjoy the beautiful scenic landscape as you hike or or ride ATV's on the many well-maintained trails. In the winter you can enjoy the"greatest snow on earth"as you snowmobile, downhill ski, cross country ski or snowshoe. And of course, you can always enjoy the small town shops, unique restaurants and relaxing atmosphere. Come spend your vacation at beautiful Bear Lake.

About Rob Phelps

Our family loves traveling and going on new adventures. We got tired of trying to find properties to rent that would provide enough space (rooms) for multi-family adventures. We decided that our favorite place to spend time as a family could benefit from a property just like the one we always wished we could find in other areas of travel. We truly hope that you will have an incredible experience while staying in our home and look forward to including your family into our family of guests.

Beautiful home for large groups

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for our family reunion. It's a beautiful house with more than enough space! We had 10 adults and 15 kids here and never felt cramped. The bunk beds and a bathroom in every bedroom was so nice. We loved the large, fully stocked kitchen and the two living rooms. Every night we would play games in the yard which was nicely taken are of! I'd definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful, Comfortable Family Reunion Home

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay with enough room for all. There were 21 present including an infant. We loved having the grass area to run and play games on. It is a beautiful place to create lasting family memories. There was one problem with lack of communication right before our stay and we never received final instructions or directions from VRBO. I had to call Rob to get directions and door codes etc. It also would have been helpful to know before hand that we were to bring our own hand soap, dish soap and toilet paper. It was in the literature on the counter in the home, but a little late for us, as we all traveled some distance to be together. We would love to come again and create more family memories. The view was beautiful and the bedrooms were very comfortable and cozy

The perfect place for us!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this house for an extended family reunion. There was plenty of room for all 29 of us. It is close to all the town highlights. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Perfect Family Getaway

  • 5 of 5

We were a large group of adults and kids and this home was perfect. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen/family room was huge and great for family meals and gatherings. The huge deck and view were a bonus. We will definitely be return.

BZ

  • 5 of 5

We hit all cylinders with this house when we rented it for our family reunion-bedroom and bath for each married couple, bunk beds for the kids, large living area, loft for pretend adventures, two refrigerators, washer & dryer, outside play area, good proximity to the running/biking path, walking distance to downtown, and even the moose who met us right on cue the first night we were there. Rob, the owner, was quick to respond to our questions. We will be back.
