This is a 6 bedroom recreation property that will allow you and your guests their own privacy. Each room is designed as a suite, with its own full bathroom.
It also has plenty of common area in two separate livings rooms with 52-inch flat screen TV's. There is a loft area for children to play and sleep on the floor, or on one of the two futon couches.
A large family kitchen is fully stocked and there are two full-size refrigerators to accommodate large groups and family gatherings.
Have a drink and relax on the deck or patio while grilling on the BBQ, overlooking Bear Lake, and watching the kids play in the fully landscaped yard.
The location is about a block away from the beach but it does not have direct beach access. There is a jogging/biking trail just outside your front door that goes around the lake and your backyard is the beautiful Wasatch mountains.
This is a perfect location right in town, close to walking paths, shops, restaurants, and the famous Pickleville Playhouse and other recreational activities.
The Bear Lake Area has been called the 'Caribbean of the Rockies' because of its intense turquoise blue water.
The Bear Lake valley offers all four of nature's seasons. There are many recreational activities available. In the summer you can jet ski across the turquoise water, sail into the sunset, or just enjoy a picnic at the beach. You can enjoy trolling for huge mackinaw or cutthroat trout in Bear Lake, or fly fishing for smaller brook or rainbow trout in the many local mountain streams. In the fall you can enjoy the beautiful scenic landscape as you hike or or ride ATV's on the many well-maintained trails. In the winter you can enjoy the"greatest snow on earth"as you snowmobile, downhill ski, cross country ski or snowshoe. And of course, you can always enjoy the small town shops, unique restaurants and relaxing atmosphere. Come spend your vacation at beautiful Bear Lake.

This home was perfect for our family! Each family had their own room with bathroom and the large open kitchen/living area was wonderful! The second refrigerator was a total must-have! The view was fantastic! We loved eating out on the deck because of the view! The bedrooms were surprisingly spacious - the bottom level rooms even had high ceilings! The loft is huge - it has 2 futons, and then still has so much room that you can sleep tons of kids on the floor! The master suite is on the main floor, 2 bedrooms on either side of the loft on the upper level, and 3 bedrooms on the lower level. Each level has its own thermostat. The location was close to everything. It's truly a fantastic house - but communication with the owner was not easy. We felt like we had to pull information out of her. And then during our stay, the WiFi didn't work for the 5 days we were there. The owner referred us to the internet company (who said it sounded like a router problem) but the owner never followed up to see if we ever got it working. Also, a previous guest had put parental locks on two of the t.v.'s (the ones in the common areas) so viewing selection was extremely limited and nothing was done to fix that either. The a/c and fan also went out on the lower level while we were there so the basement was quite stuffy and muggy until evening when we could open windows for air flow. All that being said, we'd probably stay there again now that we know what we're in for - but we'd probably check to make sure some things had been remedied first.
We recently stayed in this home for our family reunion. It was perfect for us. We loved that each of our married children and their small children had a bedroom and bathroom to themselves. Everyone had their own private space. We loved the large open kitchen/living room area. The full size washer/dryer were a must for us. Also the two refrigerators were wonderful. The kitchen also had a pantry to keep our food supply in. We loved the quiet location as well as the easy access to the playhouse down the road, the eating venues, and shops in Garden City. Everyone in our party agreed this was a wonderful home, very clean. We would definitely come back to stay another year. Thank you!
This home still is as wonderful as past posts have noted. I love it when I can stay in something that is nicer than my own home! We just spent 3 nights at this home for a family reunion with 22 people. 9 adults and 3 teens and 10 children. Everyone loved the place and their private rooms with a bathroom. We could have fit more easily without feeling too cramped. The home is beautiful, clean, well kept and now has two fridges. The kitchen is large, well stocked with things like pots, utensils, a crockpot and large rice cooker, and even oil, salt and pepper and a few spices. The bedrooms had plenty of room if need to sleep more on floor. Each room also has a large closet. There was plenty of room to eat inside or out on the deck. The view of the lake from the deck and inside the home was spectacular. It was nice to have a grass area for the kids to play on. There are many things to do in the area if you want to get out. I hope to return and would highly recommend this home.
We just spent four nights at the Lake house with 11 adults and 10 children, and it was wonderful! The house is beautiful and well maintained, there is plenty of room to gather together and yet you have privacy in the bedrooms and private baths. I would recommend this house to anyone.
One thing we noticed is that there is a mostly stocked kitchen and only one large pot so if you are trying to cook two things at the same time, (ie. noodles and stroganoff) for a large crowd you might want to take an extra pot. Everything else was awesome. Thanks for letting us stay.
Our big family loved everything about this house, even the kids appreciated how lucky we were to be staying there. Great big kitchen that had everything we needed to prepare food for a big group all week, Beautiful view, great yard for the kids to play in and ride bikes on the quiet road out front. The bedrooms were comfortable and nicely appointed and we loved eating and spending time out on the front deck while we enjoyed the view. It's also right on the bike trail and close to town. The owners were very helpful and responsive to every question we had before and during our stay. We would absolutely book this house again when planning a family trip to Bear Lake!
It's such a treat when a place looks better than it did online. This home is immaculate and beautiful and we had no idea it would have such an incredible view! Loved that it had bunk beds in 5 of the rooms and bathrooms in each room - ingenious. We highly recommend it and would go back.
