My group of friends goes on a ski trip every winter for the last few years and this one was by far the best!
This was our first year at winter park and first time at Iron Horse 4208.
The condo was perfect! Lots of room, plenty of beds, very clean and comfortable! Great ski in/out spot and great ski rental shop right in the complex. We had so much fun we're going to try for a second trip this season there.
After driving all the way from Texas, the least we expected was a good night's rest. The master bed is awful. My husband and I ended up on the murphy bed that was almost just as bad. The living room furniture is broken down. The leather sofa had stacks of throw pillows stuffed under it's cushions to keep you from falling to the floor. The refrigerator appeared to be clean, but had the odor of rotten meat. Every time we opened the door, the smell went all the way to the living room. The fireplace was also not working. Expressed our dissatisfaction to management upon checkout and was not offered anything in return, other than "thank you for sharing and at least you had some great outdoor fun." We will not be returning to the Iron Horse again.
