This town home was the right fit for my family! Every thing you should ever need plus more!. The unit is fully equipped with everything you should need on your vacation. The pool is right out side your door, clean and very peaceful. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I would love to stay one day again in the near future. I highly recommend it!!!

A perfect place to stay in Southern Arizona!

Thanks to Laurent, his wonderful hospitality and well appointed and superbly located condo, my family and I had one of the best vacations that I can remember.

As they say in real estate, location, location, location! Well, this place had it! Every place we wanted to go or everything we wanted to see, was an easy drive away (and there are TONS of things to see and do in Southern Arizona!).

One of the simple pleasures we had was to be able to enjoy our morning coffee by to pool, and have a refreshing swim and soak in the hot tub after supper! (great after a long day's exploring)

The condo was very well equipped and we had three very successful diner parties for friends there.

The bedrooms were spacious, and comfortable, and the 2 1/2 baths were a godsend!

The climate controls were good - but we really didn't have to use the AC very much, as it kept comfortably cool by itself most of the time.

Whenever I head back To Tucson, I am definitely going to lookup Laurent's place again!

Perfect location

This property was perfectly located for visiting our UofA freshman daughter. Laurent was very accommodating - he texted the address and details. Easy to find and exactly what I expected based on the pictures. Loved the French coffee press!

Super location, Good stay!

This town house is in a super location: Three blocks from the Arizona Inn, a six easy block walk from the Sun Link tram to downtown and central, with easy access routes to virtually everything worthwhile in Tucson. And it has a protected, locked garage for one's car.

The owner is very, very nice, helpful and attentive. A real gentleman.

The unit has everything in its description. It is roomy, comfortable and easily accommodates three or four. Lots of privacy, lots of common space.

I want to emphasize that we got everything that was promised and that we got good value for money.

We would stay again, and may do so next year, if Laurent will have us after I have submitted this review.

But now, to the reality: Laurent has another unit in this development and, having seen it before we left, we would much prefer to stay there if it were available.

The two units are like twins, with the exception that other one is impeccably finished and furnished. It is almost as if the one were built and finished by a master craftsman, while the other was worked on by a not very skilled and unsupervised apprentice.

The same goes for the furnishings and appliances. In the other unit, all approximates the quality and style one might have new in one's own home. In this one, however, most approximates what one might donate to the cottage of a not well-off relative. It all functions, but is very, very tired.

I mentioned several things that needed immediate attention to Laurent when we were checking out and I have no doubt he will see to them.

I really would like to be able to give this property at least four stars.

But - truthfully - it needs the master craftsman who did the other unit to come in and completely redo all the finish in this one correctly.

And, again truthfully, it needs investment in all new appliances and better quality furnishings.

Finally, the bed in the master bedroom. I mention this only because I have a bit of a back problem. There is nothing wrong with this bed. It does what it is supposed to do: Provide a reasonably good sleep.

But it felt 'thin' and flimsy and does not approach the quality of beds in intermediate range hotels/motels: Fairmont Inns, Residence Inns and other reasonably good quality hotels/motels.

We enjoyed our time and, as I said, believe we got reasonable value for money in this unit. It's just that it has the potential for so much more.

Convenient, Clean Mid-Town Location in Tucson

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is tucked into a very quiet neighborhood. The owner greeted us at the door and made us feel very welcome. This location was convenient for the things we wanted to do in Tucson. We were able to take the Sun-Link system to University Ave, 4th Avenue, and Congress Street. If you stay on the system to the end you will arrive at a nice mercado with a delightful Mexican take-out counter. We also were convenient to highways and main roads out of town so we went to the Sonoran Desert Museum, both sides of the Saguaro National Park, Kartchner Caverns, and the little art community of Tubac. The property was well taken care of and we felt very comfortable there. The only cautions I would have is that if you have mobility issues, the spiral staircase may be difficult to maneuver to reach the bedrooms. The other thing was that the pool was not being maintained and the hot tub was not heated and running. We were a bit disappointed in that but overall it was a great place for us to stay.

Suited Our Needs Perfectly

We were going to Tucson to meet a new grandchild and wanted a place centrally located, close to our children's home, quiet, clean, spacious and with a pool. This unit fit our needs perfectly and we are planning to return for a week over Thanksgiving.

The landlord met us at the unit, and was very professional and nice. We had one problem during our stay - loss of internet, which, as it turned out, was a Cox problem, not a problem within the unit - and our landlord came over and helped diagnose it promptly.

The only drawback about the unit - which is not a criticism by any means - is that the stairway to the second floor where the bedrooms and a sitting area are located is narrow, steep and winding. So for the mobility-impaired, that might present a problem.
