Enjoy the true Seattle in a soaring townhome that has room for eight, and is minutes away from dining, restaurants, and public transportation. This home is quiet and peaceful, yet 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of downtown Seattle. Walk to the Ship Canal trail (two blocks) or Seattle's eclectic Fremont neighborhood (about five minutes walk away).

Enter at the ground floor, kick off your shoes, take off your coat, and plan to stay awhile! A full sized washer and dryer (complete with supples) is tucked into a closet, to make this a great place for an extended stay or families. Make your way up a flight of stairs to two roomy bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed. The second bedroom is an office, with twin bunk beds, TV and iHome docking station. These two bedrooms have a shared bathroom. The front office/bedroom has a balcony with a territorial view.

Up one more flight of stairs to the main living area, with large living/dining room, and well equipped kitchen, decked out with stainless appliances, black granite countertops, and cherry cabinets. The large Smart HDTV streams Pandora, as well as Hulu and Netflix (bring your own password). The sofa folds out to queen sized bed, complete with tempur-pedic mattress. Here is another balcony, with a peek-a-boo view of Seattle's ship canal and a gas fireplace. Off the kitchen is a private brick patio with outdoor seating and a gas grill. Also, for your convenience this third floor has a half bathroom.

Up the last flight of stairs you will find an expansive master suite, with king sized bed, full bathroom, vaulted ceilings, HDTV, iHome docking station and roomy master closet. This master suite also has a balcony with territorial view, including a peek a boo view of the ship canal.

Like most private homes in Seattle, this condo does not have A/C.

About Darik Eaton

My wife, Sally and I are excited for you to stay with us! We originally purchased a condo in Belltown to use as a second home in the winter of 2007.

Because of our knack at hosting, great marketing and amazing design, what was just an investment has become a full time business. We currently have 30 properties in the heart of Downtown Seattle that we either own or manage on the behalf of others.

Sally is an interior designer by trade, and I'm sure you'll be able to tell when it comes to the quality items to help you feel comfortable while you are staying with us.

We take our position as hosts very seriously. Our condos are cleaned immaculately and have the best staff in the business. We are both foodies, and welcome the ability to share with you the best places in the city!

Thanks, and we look forward to hosting you!

Beautiful place to stay

  • 5 of 5

The Ship Canal Oasis was beautiful, roomy, well appointed and the beds incredibly comfortable. The area was quiet and peaceful. We spent four nights there and enjoyed our time.

Weekend Getaway

  • 4 of 5

We had stayed here a few years ago so i knew this would be a great place to stay again for another large group.

this was my husbands first time in Seattle.

We arrived in the early AM. we had the day planned out since we couldn't check in until 4PM but after a few hours, husband was not feeling well. So i emailed and asked if it was ok that we checked in a few hours early.

We never did get a response. it would have been nice to be able to check in a couple hours early or atleast an email to let us know that it wasnt ready or whatever the reason may have been.

There was some webs up in the corner and saw a few spiders in the master room which was kind of gross.

other then that, the was house was just as i remembered it the last time when we went on the girls trip and stayed there.

Great House, stairmaster included!!!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay with our family of 6 who were in Seattle for a wedding. The kitchen was amazing for a rental and everything was very clean and ready for us upon check-in. The team was easy to communicate with and accommodated us to hold a bridal luncheon at the house which was lovely since the house was set up so nicely. I will say it was quite a few stairs to haul everything up and down 1, 2 or 3 flights, but we felt like we got our stairmaster in daily! We felt it by the end of the 3 days. All in all it was a great house, great location for our needs and we worked out the parking in the alley even with our big rig. It was a very quiet location.

Nice and clean home close to downtown Seattle

  • 4 of 5

Great location except parking is in the back alley; the street is very narrow and has steep slope, you need a car with power and luckily we have a SUV!). The house is split in 4 levels. The house is very nicely decorated, newly remodeled and very well kept. Great place and will probably stay there again if we ae in Seattle again!
