The Condo was well maintained and exactly like the pictures. Absolutely everything you needed was there, form big new beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, and lots to kitchen and household goodies to get you started. Huge TV's in both bedroom and living room, comfortable furniture, and a drop dead view. Snorkeling was excellent and the Mahana is the starting point for the boardwalk to Black Rock. All sorts of boats/watercraft are going by and looking down from the lania can see turtles, dolphin pods, and monk seals in the summer and I can only imagine how incredible the whale watching must be in the winter. There is a large Times Supermarket a couple blocks away and some pretty decent restaurants very close by. Although I live in Calgary, I have been coming to the Maui since the late 70's and the Kaanapali area is one of my favorites. If you like the big resorts just to the south with crappy ocean views, lots of people, and double the price, then don't stay at the Mahana. If you want a quiet, civilized holiday, with the ocean waves lulling you to sleep, then maybe this is the place for you. As a side note, dealing with the Owner (Joe F.) was great. He was very accommodating and professional with all aspects of the booking process.

what a wonderful condo we got to stay in! the view is spectacular and feels like you're flying over the ocean the moment you walk in! everything was immaculate, huge TVs, and little perks like a couple of beers, spices, Igloos, books, DVDs, boogie boards, that just make everything that much more enjoyable. thank you for letting us stay at your place for the week, truly incredible

I surprised my husband with a trip to Maui for his 50th birthday and wanted the "perfect" condo that was oceanfront. I definitely found it - #1017 in the Aston Mahana, owned by Joe Falletta. The photos online are gorgeous, but it is even BETTER in person. The view is outstanding and with the mirrors throughout, I felt like I was always looking outside at the beautiful ocean. You can see Lanai and Molokai from the condo and watch the sun set every night. The condo was not only beautifully furnished but had more than I expected for us to use like coolers, beach chairs, kitchen utensils and such. I HIGHLY recommend Joe Falletta and this location. Actually, I have already referred two friends to Joe and the Aston Mahana. Thank you for an amazing week's stay at your place Joe! We LOVED it!!

Ocean Views !!!

We enjoyed our stay at Mahana unit 1017. It is a wonderful condo with floor to ceiling windows in both the living room and master bedroom with the most amazing views of the ocean!! It is truly breathtaking! You feel like you are right on top of the water! The condo itself does not lack for anything. The furnishings are beautiful, the bed is very comfortable, the kitchen has every thing you need to prep meals. Loved the lanai for hanging out and watching whales, dolphins, turtles and of course the most amazing sunsets! We love this property and will continue to come back. It is quiet and private. Feels like home!

The view is BETTER than it looks in the photos if that is possible. Otherwise everything looks exactly as you would expect. Everything was pristine and clean and the kitchen has every glass, dish, pan, and spice you can imagine if you plan on buying groceries and grilling (which I recommend). The Mahana is by far the best view and the best property on all of Kaanapali beach, and you can see for yourself when you walk the beautiful boardwalk during your stay. It was so peaceful and quiet and we genuinely felt at home the entire time we were in Maui. If you are looking for an ocean view - Unit 1205 is unmatched. I am already planning my next stay !!!

We keep coming back every year!

Since 2005 we have celebrated every Christmas but one while staying in this wonderful condo. Each year we add more days/weeks onto our stay. Great time watching the whales, sea turtles & surfers. Wonderful staff & much quieter than the main Ka'anapali strip but very accessible to all activities.
