Thank for the use of your great condo. It was clean and comfortable. Murray and I enjoyed it as it was our home. It definitely had all the amenities that a couple needs to relax and enjoy Hawaii. We truly appreciated the comforts. The view was spectacular and it is well situated from the craziness of the main resort area. We did like to be able to go to Dukes for Happy Hour. Wow. I enjoyed many days walking the beach and snorkelling. We drove up the way to the snorkelling bays. We also floated on the beach in the front of the Westin where it is sandy. After a full day of sun and sand, we could come back into the cool of the condo, shower and enjoy happy hour on the deck. Such a treat. It was also very different, much more like home, since we always stayed at resorts.
Thank you again for allowing us to rent the condo. We are already planning next year.
I surprised my husband with a trip to Maui for his 50th birthday and wanted the "perfect" condo that was oceanfront. I definitely found it - #1017 in the Aston Mahana, owned by Joe Falletta. The photos online are gorgeous, but it is even BETTER in person. The view is outstanding and with the mirrors throughout, I felt like I was always looking outside at the beautiful ocean. You can see Lanai and Molokai from the condo and watch the sun set every night. The condo was not only beautifully furnished but had more than I expected for us to use like coolers, beach chairs, kitchen utensils and such. I HIGHLY recommend Joe Falletta and this location. Actually, I have already referred two friends to Joe and the Aston Mahana. Thank you for an amazing week's stay at your place Joe! We LOVED it!!
We enjoyed our stay at Mahana unit 1017. It is a wonderful condo with floor to ceiling windows in both the living room and master bedroom with the most amazing views of the ocean!! It is truly breathtaking! You feel like you are right on top of the water! The condo itself does not lack for anything. The furnishings are beautiful, the bed is very comfortable, the kitchen has every thing you need to prep meals. Loved the lanai for hanging out and watching whales, dolphins, turtles and of course the most amazing sunsets! We love this property and will continue to come back. It is quiet and private. Feels like home!
The view is BETTER than it looks in the photos if that is possible. Otherwise everything looks exactly as you would expect. Everything was pristine and clean and the kitchen has every glass, dish, pan, and spice you can imagine if you plan on buying groceries and grilling (which I recommend). The Mahana is by far the best view and the best property on all of Kaanapali beach, and you can see for yourself when you walk the beautiful boardwalk during your stay. It was so peaceful and quiet and we genuinely felt at home the entire time we were in Maui. If you are looking for an ocean view - Unit 1205 is unmatched. I am already planning my next stay !!!
Since 2005 we have celebrated every Christmas but one while staying in this wonderful condo. Each year we add more days/weeks onto our stay. Great time watching the whales, sea turtles & surfers. Wonderful staff & much quieter than the main Ka'anapali strip but very accessible to all activities.
We could not have imagined a more perfect location for our Maui vacation. We stayed in 1205 at the Mahana resort for our honeymoon last week, and it was exactly as advertised (no photoshop usage). The room and entire resort were clean, the service (when needed) very helpful, and the quiet hours between 10 PM and 8 AM much appreciated. Joe was wonderful to communicate with and he did everything professionally and in a prompt manner. He went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect.
Also, the beach was RIGHT THERE! Truly ocean front (not ocean view). From what I understand, other big-name resorts are probably more than a 5-minute walk past fancy pools and gardens to the ocean, and you're paying twice the amount there to see a slice of the ocean from your room. At the Mahana, you exit your room, take the elevator downstairs, and can be in the pool or ocean momentarily.

We are just finishing up a 9 night stay in 1017 and we've been really happy with the condo.. It's very nicely decorated with comfortable furniture and beautiful accent pieces. The bed is especially comfortable. The condo is well-equipped, very clean and well-maintained, with everything in good working order.
We enjoy having meals on the lanai, and the kitchen is well stocked with good cookware, dishes, small appliances and kitchen gadgets for preparing just about any meal. The BBQ area is excellent and the tables there are nice for having meals at as well.
Although the beach out front isn't swimmable due to shallow rocks close to shore, there's easy ocean access at the south end of the complex for both swimming and snorkelling. Snorkelling out front is excellent (about 200 ft. out from the shore) and there's also very good snorkelling close to shore about a 10 minute walk south along the beach.
Many thanks to the owners of this lovely condo for sharing it; they were great to work with and we would gladly stay here again, and would recommend it to others.

The balance is due 90 days before your arrival date.
Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a 100% refund.
You will receive a 100% refund in the event that a natural disaster or national security incident critically affects your trip.
