Recently redecorated, it has three bedrooms that invite you to have a good rest after a day exploring the wonders of BA, three and a half baths (very convenient and not common at all), a patio and a nice balcony off the living room and two of the bedrooms, where you can enjoy Happy Hour! The apartment has all the amenities you would expect to make your stay a most pleasant one, including a very amicable owner ready to help you in any way possible!

La Isla is widely regarded as the safest and most exclusive part of Buenos Aires. It is walking distance to major tourist attractions: fashionable Buenos Aires Design and Cultural Center and Alvear Street where visitors can shop for high-end designer home-goods and Argentine art, the fabulous weekend Recoleta Artisans Arts and Crafts Fair, museums and the internationally renowned Recoleta Cemetery . A wide selection of restaurants, cafes, food markets, boutiques and shopping centers surround the apartment.

Commonly referred to as a Parisian redoubt this 5 block neighborhood is on a hill well known for its architecture, home to the British ambassador s mansion and to traditional Argentinean families. 'Beautiful, well-kept, at a great location'

This apartment is a great choice for family and group vacations in Buenos aires. It is located a block away from two major avenues with plentiful transportation, yet it is located in a very silent, closed street.The place is well kept: the furniture, bed sheets, towels, appliances, etc are generally in very good shape.The owner is very responsive to the guests' needs. During my stay, she managed to find a technician to fix an occasional problem in the fridge the day before Christmas. Within hours, she also found a temporary rental parking spot for my car nearby, as the apartment itself has no allocated parking spot in the building. Anyway, finding street parking spots was easy, at least between Christmas and New Year Eve, when many portenos are away.

The building has two elevators and the apartment is in the first floor. From this point of view, it is very suitable for elderly guests. However, they may find it difficult to use the bathtubs of the main bathrooms. The option is to use the shower in the service area, as an elderly family member did during our stay.

Overall, this is an excellent option for quality time with family and friends in Buenos aires. I highly recommend it.

'Clean, comfortable, home away from home for traveling family.'

We were very happy with our stay in this apartment in Recoleta. The location is great, the apartment is nicely appointed and was well stocked with linens and cookware. With a family of four, including two older children, ages 20 and 16, this appartment allowed us all the space we needed and provided us a much needed quiet resting spot during our busy Ba schedule. I would definitely recommend this apt to friends and family. Sandra is very nice and helpful and speaks english very well.

What makes this apartment unique

Public transportation available around the corner! The subway system is very reliable and it covers the city and outskirts with a combined route of 46 kilometers and 80 stations. There are five lines identified with letters (A, B, C, D and E) and it is the fastest way to move around the city.

BA has a large network of buses, 'Colectivos'. There are 144 lines, each one identified with a number and color. The ticket is paid on the bus with coins or you can purchase a SUBTE card. There are different fares depending on the length of your trip. It is very cheap.

Of course, you can always walk as the apartment is centrally located near tourist attractions, restaurants, cafes, museums etc

Good location in Recoleta

The location of the apartment is very good and in the best neighborhood in Buenos Aires. It is on a quiet street though during the night, there can be a little more noise due to what I think was a working parking lot. Easy walk to the Recoleta Cemetery and to the BA Museum and the great park that surrounds it.

The apartment was very functional, and clean. Easy moving in and moving out as well. Coordinating the coming and going was easy, which was helpful as we were coming from another location.

Farmacity and grocery stores are a block or two away to getting settled in is pretty easy.

Comfortable and convenient

Very homey apartment with plenty of rooms and baths for six of us.

Great location walking distance from some major tourist sites and good restaurants.

Sandra was very helpful and very prompt in replying to any emails and questions.

A stay you will NOT regret!

I stayed seven weeks in Sandra's overwhelmingly beautiful flat, and it was absolutely wonderful every second of my stay! I have no complains what so ever, only the opposite! You cannot find a more charming, clean, well equipped, nicely furnished, well placed, quiet, beautiful apartment. Sandra is the nicest, most helpful person, and the cleaning lady is so sweet. I will for sure be back and highly recommend this flat and Sandra to everyone who considers renting a flat in Buenos Aires.

We had a wonderful time at this house, owner was helpful and corteous

We were a group of 6 adults that spent 5 days in Buenos Aires at this property. We loved the accommodation and specially it location, in a safe and beautiful area. Best things to see and visit in the city are close by, walking the streets safe and beautiful.

We higly re4commend this house and its owner.
