Easy and comfortable
We stayed here for a few night at the end of August. This is still a busy tourist time so it was good to stay in an area where you could walk to everything you'd want to see or eat. Lots of cafes and trattorias near by and each day we walked to the Pantheon or the colloseum/forum, even the MAXXI and Stadio Olimpio to see a Lazio match. At night it's very quiet and in the morning you're not walking out the door into touristland.
I rented this studio 2 months before my trip. Simone the owner was helpful from beginning to end. It was at an ideal place. Minutes walk to Vatican and very short distance by bus to the Roman forum. Buses and market right at the corner. Many restaurants around the area also. I highly recommend this apartment.
Perfect for our Stay in Rome
My husband, 8 month old baby and I stayed in the Minerva 2 apartment. The apartment was impeccably clean upon arrival, which was important to us because our baby is a very active crawler. Simona was very responsive and accommodating from our very first communication, to our last. Simona will make sure all of your travel needs are met while you are in Rome. I missed seeing where Simona requires cash payment, so please make note. But as with all aspects of our stay, Simona was patient and understanding with us on this point. The building itself is in a perfect location. My husband and I loved walking through the labyrinth of beautiful old streets to find a spot for breakfast and dinner each day. You'll be far enough away from the throngs of tourists, yet it's very walkable to the major sites. We were able to have our laundry done in a few hours by the launder who is just past the Pharmacy on the same street. There is also a salon right near the apartment, in case you need a haircut (as did my husband in preparation for a wedding we attended in Sorrento after our stay in Rome). We would recommend Minerva 2, and we'd stay there, or in a different apartment in this building, if/when we return to Rome. Working with Simona was easy, and very pleasant!
This rental is in a great location and has everything you need when on vacation! Simona is a wonderful host and takes care of anything you may need (like airport transfers). The building is safe and secure. There are good restaurants within easy walking distance (and a grocery store for self-caterers) and all of Rome's top sights are close by. Hope this place is free the next time we visit Rome.
This was a wonderful apartment in a great neighborhood of Rome. I think it's perfect for one or two people (might get a little cramped for more). I was there for 4 weeks. Simona met me when I arrived and explained everything I needed to know about the apartment. When I arrived the apartment was clean. Bathroom modern (good hot water and pressure). Small kitchen but efficient (stove top cooking and microwave, no oven) snd supplied well with utensils and cooking equipment. For my whole stay, Simona was a wonderful hostess, attentive to my needs and always accessible. Made my stay in Rome a pleasure.
Well located apartment near Piazza Navona
We stayed for 5 nights in the Minerva apt. It is an easy 1st floor walk up, or you can use the lift. The apartment is comfortable for 2 people, has WiFi, nice gas stove top, microwave, small fridge, washing machine, newer bathroom with shower and heated towel rack, a TV with Italian channels, separate bedroom and large closet. There are 2 large windows that open, one in the bedroom and one off the kitchen's small balcony that overlooks the enclosed court yard. Simona is available if needed and is very accommodating. We walked everywhere, but bus service, restaurants and groceries are near the apartment.
