About The Owner

I live in the main part of this house - renting out the two separate apartments. I enjoy meeting new people and take great pleasure in being able to share this part of the country with others. There's so much to do here you'll have to come back time and time again to see it all.

Check out my other property, same location - 352393.

The Owner purchased this apartment in 1987

Why The Owner chose Northwest

I bought my house in 1987. Once I toured this neighborhood, I knew it was for me. The downstairs apartment was part of the house when I moved in - and has provided opportunity for 'sharing the wealth' all these years. It was fully remodeled approximately 6 years ago to my specifications; a lovely space.

What makes this apartment unique

You'll be able to look out the back kitchen window at the lovely garden, enjoy the planter boxes that surround the window, enjoy a quiet and peaceful sleep in the bedroom or living room, enjoy the bright sun, walk to the park across the street. If the day is warm, open the front door and let day in - or go outside and sit in the patio area, surrounded by red raspberries, flowers and growing vegetables - meet the neighbors walking the area.

Wonderful home away from home.

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed here numerous times and always enjoy ourselves. It is a delightful apartment, close to parks and shopping. It is a wonderful location for walking. We walk to Gas Works Park regularly. We will always stay here when we come back to Seattle.

Cozy and welcoming

Great stay! Delicious coffee, warm beds, and fresh raspberries from the bush outside! Thank you! We played every day at the park across the street, walked to great sushi, coffee, and beer, and enjoyed easy access to Seattle. Thanks, again

Warm and Welcoming, best neighborhood in Seattle!

  • 5 of 5

The place was amazing. Garnett was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a big raspberry bush on the way in, which she made sure to invite us to so on our way in and out we ate a handful of raspberries. The entryway smelled of the Jasmine bush outside and the bed was the most comfortable thing i have ever slept on. It was clean and bright and our trip wouldn't have been as wonderful if we were going home to anything but Garnett's Place!! We will be making our trip to Seattle an annual one and will always be staying with Garnett.

A most pleasant stay and location.

  • 4 of 5

Wonderfully spacious, charming and well appointed walk-in basement apartment with it's own outdoor garden patio. Lots of charm, too. Ideal walking location to many Wallingford restaurants and shopping. Be aware of a very friendly cat who may or may not visit. Owner absolutely lovely and helpful lives above and is a master gardener-landscaper from her exquisite surroundings.
