Beautiful views from Midnight Cove #714, an 860 square foot,1st floor, bayside beach condo, in Siesta Key, FL at the gulf to bay Midnight Cove vacation condominiums, with vehicle gated properties located just north of Stickney Point Road where it intersects with the main thoroughfare, Midnight Pass Road, offering easy access onto and off this increasingly popular tourist destination, an 8 miles long barrier island just offshore of Sarasota, with the Intra-Coastal Waterway of Roberts Bay and Little Sarasota Bay on the east side, and the azure waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Crescent Beach on the west side, with some of the most beautiful, soft, pristine white quartz sand in the world.

You may also stay as late as you like after 10:00 AM on your departure date, and use the common areas on the Midnight Cove properties. Just be sure to park your vehicle in one of the visitor parking spots in front of the rental office, and not in the Midnight Cove #714 parking spot. Your unit key will open the restrooms in the bayside pool area, as well as the tennis court gate, and you have the access code for the security gates, and gulf side pool area restrooms.

Wonderful time - clean rooms and beautiful rear enclosed porch with view of water. Nice amenities and easy access to everywhere on the key. Could use a little more light and wifi in the condo but otherwise, wonderful!

Condo was nice and the property. Minutes walk to the beach..

The owner did not provide good customer service AFTER we had left..... A Handle popped off on the refrigerator and the owner of this unit was not very nice in all the emails he sent to me about this. Charging me $146.00 ( close ) for a refrigerator handle. I have emailed him about this situation and he was very condenscending to me....

Owner's Response: This guest and her husband of Cincinnati, OH rented Midnight Cove #714 from Oct 10th to 17th 2015. During their stay, the lower refrigerator handle was damaged, actually broken, and they failed to report it, even after departing the unit, contrary to the terms of their rental agreement which states the following, “LESSEE(S) is required to report any damages, deficiencies, or malfunction in the unit to the LESSOR immediately after checking in (within 24 hours).” Now at this point, after making the damage, and not reporting it, 26 years of rental experience indicates to me exactly where this is going. The guests made absolutely no attempt to contact me until an e-mail was received Oct 26th, 9 days after they departed the unit, and 6 days after they were sent an e-mail along with a photo indicating the damage to the lower refrigerator handle, it being broken just before its connection to the refrigerator door at the top, the top portion of the handle still firmly connected to the refrigerator door with 2 screws. The guests were also informed that the amount of the damage, including the cost of a new handle, freight, installation costs, and time spent would be deducted from their security deposit. On Oct 28th, the guests were sent an e-mail outlining all of the actual costs to replace the refrigerator door handle in the amount of $158.00, along with a copy of the handle order confirmation and delivery in the amount of $69.25, $18.75 for time spent to source the new handle, a $20.00 management charge for the damage occurrence as per rental documents sent, and the e-mails from the handyman installer indicating the $50.00 door handle installation cost portion of his $90.00 billing to me for the work he performed installing the new handle, and removal and disposal work at my other unit at Midnight Cove. All of my e-mail correspondence sent to these guests were entirely cordial, and the condescending accusation in their review, a pure fabrication. The plain fact of the matter is that these guests have posted this negative review because they had to pay $158.00 dollars in damages for their carelessness while staying in the unit. I do not know how the broke the refrigerator handle, but I do know that they did. Lastly, on Oct 27th these same guests posted a glowing 5 star review on this site, but that was before they found out that they were going to be deducted $158.00 from their security deposit for the damage that they had done.

Midnight Cove on the Bay- Beautiful place to stay. The Bayside has a gorgeous view of the bay.

The condo was very nice and equipped. Sitting down on the dock overlooking the bay was very nice. Watching fish jump right out of the water.

The pool area was very nice too. Plenty of nice lounge chairs to relax on.

Just a short walk to the beach. Beautiful Siesta Key... Took the complimentary kayaks out in the ocean and saw two manatees....

Also the complimentary chairs and umbrellas were a nice perk.

The only thing is if you rent directly from the owner and have a problem, the rental office cannot help you. You have to communicate with the owner directly. If you rent the condo thru Midnight Cove, then you have full access to the rental office. Otherwise a nice, beautiful, reasonably priced condo.....

We loved our stay, its an amazing place, our only complaints would be better matress's to sleep on and pillows, and better cable TV service! Other than that we would definitely stay here again in the future!

Owner's Response: Midnight Cove #714 is a well maintained condominium, with 1 comfortable queen bed in the master bedroom, and 2 comfortable twin beds in the guest bedroom. The accommodation of personal bed comfort preferences that may vary from guest to guest, is not possible, and in my view, comfort preferences are plainly irrelevant in any vacation property review. On April 22, 2015, after I inventoried the contents of the unit, 2 sets of bed linens for each bed were added to the unit inventory, and all of the pillows were also replaced. Rental statistics do speak for themselves. Since the unit was purchased in July of 2011, there have been 113 guests prior to this guest arriving, 30 reviews submitted (all available for view as submitted on the unit web site), and with zero complaints about mattresses or pillows. If the guest was experiencing technical problems with the cable TV reception, it was not reported. The Xfinity cable TV service in the unit is supplied by Comcast, a standard condo package purchased by the Midnight Cove Association, and with no premium or specialty channels available to guests. Again, there have been zero complaints about the cable TV service from any prior guest staying in the unit.

This was our first time in Midnight Cove. Our stay in this unit was perfect, we enjoyed those days in this place. Only we missed the internet inside the unit and a TV in the guess room. The owner was very helpful with all the information that he send to us. We plan to be there again.

Great value!

This was our 3rd stay in this condo - and we will continue to come back whenever we can! The condo is furnished with the necessities, is clean and comfortable. The location is great! With Midnight Cove - both the gulf side & the bay side benefit from the same amenities - the chairs/umbrellas that are provided to all guests is awesome! The walk to the beach takes about 5 minutes - but since the chairs/umbrellas are provided - there is no need to carry much! The gas grills are great, the landscaping, pool, etc. are all well maintained and beautiful. Having a washer/drier in the unit is also a big plus!

Being on the 1st floor is also a bonus - walk out of the lanai and see fish jumping in the canal.

Another bonus with this location is that you can walk (less than 5 minutes) to the grocery, Capt. Curts, Sniki Tiki, Orange Octupus, CB's, etc.
