This is a historic downtown SLO home built in 1925.With a few updates while keeping it's classic charm. A huge California oak with a treehouse is in the backyard, propane BBQ and a lovely gathering table.There are 2 bedrooms with solid hardwood doors and 1 bathroom.Sofa with chaise in the living room.* A pair of blue-jays and many morning doves will regale you in the with their songs.
*Please note: This is an R2 lot with a studio in the back end of the lot with a long term renter.

25 years ago I drove through San Luis Obispo on my way to residency from Seattle to southern California I thought it was the most unspoiled beautiful place I had ever seen. Fortunately I was able to move here and can share it with you now.The weather is as perfect as the people are friendly.There is no smog or traffic.Come and enjoy California as it used to be 50 years ago.

A historic craftsman syle home with unique touches,a claw foot tub,a front porch to sit on and meet the local folks. It is the SLO life.
We stayed for the month of July and loved being able to walk to town for dinner and walk home afterwards. Everything is close by and the High Street Deli was great which is right down the street. Has everything you need for an easy vacation.
The owners are great to work with and so lovely. We are thinking of moving to San Luis Obispo in the future, loved Avila Beach 13 minutes away from the house. I don't know who liked the beach more us or our dog. Had a great time.
This was our second time staying at this cozy bungalow. Everything we remembered it to be ... great location in SLO, warm and welcoming, well-appointed with everything we needed, dog-friendly, and Marti the owner very friendly and helpful! After enjoying all of the outdoor activities that SLO and surrounding areas have to offer, it was always nice to return to Price Street!
My husband, dog, and I stayed for 10 days in Oct. 2014 and this house fit us and our needs perfectly. Marti was great and provided a smooth and welcoming experience. The house had everything we needed from fast Wi-Fi to a well stocked kitchen and comfy rooms. I was able to work and play and relax. The front porch chairs provided us with cool evenings and wine, watching the neighbors go by. Plus the fenced yard gave our pup a safe place to romp. If you're visiting SLO and need a homey spot to stay this a great spot.
My husband and our little Maltese dog stayed for five days this past July and had a wonderful time. The house was very comfortable with a fabulous outdoor patio and barbeque area. We loved the neighborhood and location to downtown and local beaches. We were able to bike ride around SLO and hit the beach every day!
We were in SLO to attend a wedding and regretted not booking through the weekend. We were far more comfortable in this house than at the 4 star hotel we stayed at for the wedding!
The owner quickly responded to all our questions prior to booking and was very friendly upon our arrival.

We had a wonderful time at the house. It is cute little old Victorian house with lots of character. It was close to downtown. We walked to Thursday night market and downtown for breakfast multiple times. Our dog loved it too. The neighborhood is nice a quiet. Beds were so comfortable. The owner is fantastic. She made sure that everything went well and gave us some great recommendations. We will definitely be coming back to this property again.
if you have kids at Cal Poly, it is a great place to be. If you love SLO, you will love this location.
We loved, loved, loved staying in this home! The homeowner is wonderful and left a couple of small fun toys for our kids (ages 8 and 11) to play with, and she was very helpful before AND after our stay! Wonderful woman!
The most important things for me with staying somewhere is cleanliness and safety. This place was perfectly clean in every way (even with pets occasionally staying here, which I'm allergic to and had no problems with!)! And the neighborhood and house it's self felt perfectly safe as well!
The house was easy to find and was close enough to everything you'd need to go to, without being on a busy street. And the person that lives full time in the back part of the property was kind and kept to themselves so you never felt like you were in their way or them in yours.
I would definitely stay here again if/when we visit SLO!
