The property is a secluded, quiet, and peaceful place. The little cabin is cozy and comfortable. We absolutely loved the pool area with the cabana and the fire pit. A nice getaway place!
My sister and I stayed for our annual "sister trip". Perfect location and the property was beautiful. Tamra and Tony were so nice, made sure we had everything we needed....Pool area was amazing! Perfect trip!
My husband and I stayed for our anniversary! Centrally located to tons of attractions. Very peaceful. Fire pit was beautiful at night. Hot tub was wonderful as well! Tamra and Tony were so personable and helpful. We are already planning a trip to rent the entire property.
My wife and I spent 3 nights here for our 24th Anniversary. The location and property and simply fantastic, beautiful spot in the Hill Country outside San Antonio. The pool area and pool house are such a wonderful place to just relax, the weather was, as always, a mixed bag so Friday the water was a little too cool to spend too much time swimming. On Saturday the sun was out all day and dipping into the pool was perfect as was laying out on the lounge chairs to soak up the rays. The steam shower is a real treat, I set the temp to 99 and the timer to 15min and came out feeling like my pores had all been cleansed and life was good.
The cabin is nice and clean and has everything you need, a full kitchen a nice bed and a couch to watch a movie from. Sitting out on the patio in the rocking chairs while grilling some steaks and enjoying the hill country is something to be experienced.
The only downside (and this was completely out of the control of the owners) was that the storm that blew through Friday evening knocked out the power from about 7pm to around 2am, but even that was not so bad. We found some candles in the pool house and then talked and read books before going to bed.
If you want to get away for the weekend and get some Zen, I highly recommend staying here.
The house was intimate, quiet, and perfect for our retreat. The mattress on the bed should be replaced and the flooring is a little "mysterious", but overall we love this location. The pool area is unbelievable.
We spent three nights at this little cottage. It was nice. The Pool house was amazing We were told that there was a fireplace in the unit, even after I called to make sure, but it was not. The fireplace is in the pool house. The hot tub is private, meaning it is only used by you, but it was not private in the sense that it was in open view of all other cottages. A lattice should have been used to block the view. It rained quite a bit so the ceiling in the bathroom leaked and dripped on you whenever you used the toilet. We had to place towels to keep the leak from causing puddles to form on the floor. The rain kept us from enjoying the hot tub at our unit because it is not covered.
