We go to Bruce Peninsula to spend a whole week with the family. The house has amazing lawns, plenty of space for everything. The HOT tube is outside and has space for 5 people. The situation of the house is remarkable, close to Wiarton, abut separate enough to have the proper peace and rest. On the down side, the washing machine stopped to work but the owners contact us the same day offering to repair it. One thing to have in mind is that between the house and the lake, there is a road, so child need supervision the whole time.
A weekend was not enough time to enjoy this beautiful home. My wife and 4 adult children had an amazing time with more then adequate space for everyone. We enjoyed two beautiful sunsets and a campfire following. This was a great location to explore the Bruce and a wonderful retreat to return to at the end of the day. The Blue House was spotless and offered all the amenities of home. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your home. We would recommend this home but are afraid to many people may find our go to escape and make booking time impossible.

Wonderful, peaceful, relaxing vacation home. Views were spectacular. Listing description was accurate. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend. The property was spotless and welcoming. Had so many amenities, hot tub, fireplace, screened in gazebo by the water. We loved every minute!
This charming blue cottage was an answered prayer, as we were looking for a place where we could relax after my husband suffered a stroke in July, 2012. When we arrived at the cottage, after an absolutely gorgeous drive, we found a clean, tidy, cozy atmosphere, where we could kick off our shoes and put up our feet. When we first opened the door to the cottage we felt like the seven dwarves when they returned home after a long day at the mine to find that the beautiful and kind Snow White had worked her magic on their home! The sight that greeted us was magical! At that point it was obvious to us that this cottage was not only a house, but a home, and we felt that we had been welcomed with open arms. The downstairs bathroom was spacious and contained a beautiful, large bath, as well as a shower and a washer and dryer, and the beds were comfy and cozy; we had the best sleeps in that little cottage. The bedrooms are situated on the second floor and a cool breeze blew in every night from the lake. The nearby town of Wiarton is as charming a town as you will find anywhere and the residents were extremely kind and helpful. We travelled up the Bruce Peninsula to Tobermory for fish and chips at The Fish Place and ice cream at The Sweet Shop. We also drove to Singing Sands where we saw the most beautiful sunset and when we turned around to head back to the car, we were treated to the most unbelievably beautiful moon I have ever seen! We spent our days hiking the trails of the Bruce, visiting nearby caves, and swimming, and our nights sitting around the firepit on the lake eating s'mores and relaxing in the hot tub. You really must visit, and soon! We highly recomment this property; you will have the most relaxing time of your life! Beautiful! Absolutely Beautiful!!!
