Suttons Bay Lodge Rental Photos and Description

5 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, Sleeps 14

This is an amazing location in Suttons Bay village of Suttons Bay on West Grand Traverse Bay. Imagine 350' of crystal clear deep water all to yourself on 5 private wooded acres (there is a shallow area to the north part of shoreline). Home faces East for beautiful sunrise views. On N. West Bay Shore with a long driveway. Sleeps up to 14.

There are 2 bedrooms on the main level (King w/master bath with soaking tub and another bedroom with 1 Queen) and 3 bedrooms on the upper level (2 Queens,bunk+2 Twins). There is also a Twin sleeper sofa in reading area (with a wall of books!). There is one bathroom on the upper level. In the caboose there is bedding for 3 with a daybed and 2 berth bunks. A little smaller than a standard bunk, but so cute and cozy. Think of the fun the kids will have at this memorable location.

The living room is grand with sweeping views of the bay and a large stone fireplace, stone tile floors and cherry hardwood throughout the house. Cable TV, DVD player, and WiFi. Kitchen has been updated with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. There is plenty of space for the chef in the family.

Reviewer Comments:

Our extended family, ages 2 through 88, gathered here for 4 wonderful days. The property offers much to do - swimming, kayaking, woods walk, relaxing on the huge deck, bonfire pit by the beach and the kids loved the caboose. We rented bikes in Sutton's Bay and explored the Leelanau Bike path. House is very well supplied and comfortable.

Reviewer Comments:

Our family celebration of our 50th anniversary couldn't have been better. The house was very accommodating except for the following: No A/C on upper level; grass was not cut when we arrived-waited two days; modem did not work-waited three days for replacement. It should be noted that there some serious safety issues which need to be addressed:1.the two level deck should have lights to illuminate the two levels at night(one of our guests fell off the top level);2. the dock ladder needs bolts tightened as well as tie down cleat tightened. These items should be addressed but we were still very satisfied with our stay.

Owner's Response: We will have the housekeeper pay more attention. Sometimes they are tough to see in the daylight and then you can see them at night. If you ever have anything like this in one of our properties give us a call and we will send someone right out! It seems that even with that you had a great stay we hope to see you again soon!

Reviewer Comments:

I was hosting a Bachelor Party for my good friend. We had plenty of room with the 14 guys. Everyone loved the setting; secluded, on the water, close enough to town, open layout and a big back porch. Could not have been happier with the house.
