Relax on the newly built c. 2,000 sf dock and enjoy the breathtaking views over the water or take a dip in the over-sized pool while soaking up the marvelous sunshine throughout the day. Watch the Dolphins or Manatees swim by as the Pelicans fly above and dive into the water to gulp down dinner. This house has one of the rare views of the prestigious Marco River - peaceful yet active. This private and exclusive home is situated on waterfront property with almost 3/4 of an acre in an idyllic setting. And if you like to fish, you'll be in paradise. As one of our guest wrote, "Fishing off the dock was the biggest hit for our family as we caught fish pretty much every morning, afternoon and evening. From sheepshead to ladyfish to snapper, we probably caught 12 different species in all"
Inside enjoy all the modern comforts of home: free WiFi, free national calls and flat screen TVs in the living room (smart TV), kitchen/dining room and all bedrooms.
The house sleeps 8 people In beds. It is perfectly set up for an enjoyable vacation with the bedrooms on one side of the house and the living area on the other side of the house.
Bedroom Wing : There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms in the Bedroom Wing and all bedrooms have cable TVs.
The master bedroom has a new king-sized bedroom set complete with brand new 'pillow-top' mattress. This larger room overlooks both the pool and the screened in lanai. For those early risers there are wonderful sunrises from this bedroom. The attached bathroom has a walk-in shower (with a seat to sit inside) and the usual sink and toilet.
There are two other bedrooms - one with a set of twin beds set up as a king-sized bed and another with two sets of bunk beds (sleeping four people each in their own bed).
In the Bedroom Wing, there is also a full bathroom with shower and bathtub and another bathroom that has a toilet/sink. The smaller bathroom also has a door out to the pool and serves as the pool bath so guests don't have to walk through the house while wet.
In the hallway there is a linen closet that includes lots of towels, bed linens and a vacuum cleaner.
Living Wing: The living wing is a collection of four rooms that consist of the central living room, kitchen, sun room/dinette and atrium room.
The living room is the central room of the house and has a sectional sofa positioned near the 60-inch smart LED TV. The large TV also has an attached BluRay player. There is a stereo with Iphone connection point. In one corner of the living room is a desk with a computer printer. The house has wireless broadband internet connection. One nice feature of the living room is the wall of glass doors that overlooks the pool so guests can visit while still keeping an eye on the pool activities.
The kitchen has all the usual amenities with large refrigerator and ice maker, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker. There are loads of pots, pans, flatware, plates and glasses for most occasions. One nice feature about the kitchen is the breakfast bar with four barstools.
Attached to the kitchen is the sun room which has a dinette table that seats six. Also in this room is another sofa and loveseat that overlooks the pool area.
The atrium room is a large 600 square foot room that has a glass atrium ceiling and a wall of sliding screen doors. The screen doors can be pushed back to the sides so there is an uninterrupted view of the pool, backyard and the water. This room is perfect for dining outside.
Outside is a large, 18 x 36 ft private pool, (the typical pool is 12 x 34 ft), that is heated both by solar blanket (on a roller for easy on/off) and a pool heater. There are many lounge chairs around the pool to relax and read a book or nap in the sun. Head out to the oversized dock for stunning sunrise and sunset views, fishing and sunbathing.
There are nearly 50 restaurants including the famous Snook Inn, 2 grocery stores, 2 drug stores and numerous shops within 5 min of the house. There are also 2 places where you can rent and dock a boat, (boats can't be kept at the property), if you would like to go fishing or just exploring. If you decide to go further afield, it's quick and easy to get off the island to go golfing or up to Naples.

We had a wonderful experience in Marco Island this past July. The rental home offered up everything it describes in the online brochure + more. We stayed for two weeks and hardly left the house because there was no need. We have two kids 8 and 10 and they had a great time swimming whenever they wanted (day and night) we fished off the beautiful expansive dock which was really fun for all of us. We couldn't wait to get out there in the morning to see what we would catch and possibly eat that night . We learned a lot about fishing from the locals--even getting bait at Walgreen's. We caught Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, Snapper and even a small Hammer Head Shark-(which we did throw back) . Sitting on the dock, we watched giant rays doing aerials in the water as well as many dolphin, diving birds and the best was our close encounter with a manatee. We visited Tigertail Beach, rented a boat for the day and of course ate at the Snook Inn (a must) all were within a couple of minutes from the house. When we arrived , the owners called us to check if we needed anything. We love Marco and the house afforded us the opportunity to stay for two weeks in a fabulous location and relax and do whatever we wanted at our own pace and leisure.
Thank you for taking the time to describe your experience. We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and have already decided to return again. We have a number of repeat guests and we're pleased to add you to the list. It's the best complement we can get!
Great home, great pool, and great setting on the water
As the old saying goes in real estate, location location location! This home is perfectly located on Marco Island, and offers every amenity you could want in a vacation home! Fishing off the dock was the biggest hit for our family as we caught fish pretty much every morning, afternoon and evening. From sheepshead to ladyfish to snapper, we probably caught 12 different species in all. When we weren't fishing, our kids spent countless hours in the pool, while my wife and I lounged around the pool deck. The bedroom setup is great, and the kitchen/living areas offer ample space to dine and relax! If you are looking for a great home in a private cul de sac location, this home will not disappoint! Thank you for opening up your home to our family, and we look forward to a return trip in the coming years ahead!
Thank you for such a wonderful review! It's hard to convey the uniqueness of the location, but you summed it up nicely. Your fishing experience sounds fantastic! To think that some spend hundreds to rent a boat to go out fishing and all you had to do was walk to the dock!
We're very pleased to have been able to share the house with you and your family and look forward to your return.
This is the perfect place for a family vacation!
We very much enjoyed our vacation. The view from this home is simply spectacular! We spent many hours fishing from the dock, and just realxing and watching nature. The home layout is very welcoming, we made much use of the grille and the enclosed patio where we enjoyed most meals. We had young children with us and the size of the home was perfect for our group of six. The home was clean, comfy and you have a view of the water from all the common rooms and the master bedroom. Our little grandson said "can we just live here, all of us?" So cute!
Groceries close by, a marina with a great store for fishing supplies and essentials and a fantastic seafood shop are all less than a mile away. Great location on a quiet street. Thanks Deborah for everything! We hope to be back sometime soon!
Thank you for such a glowing review! We are so pleased that the house and location were everything you were hoping for. Your grandson's comment is so endearing and says it all! We work hard to ensure our guest have a fantastic experience and it's always rewarding to know our efforts are appreciated.
Pictures Don't do it Justice!!!
This property was just what we were looking for - a peaceful setting, great views, great pool and a convenient location. We love Marco Island and have stayed at many condos, hotels and houses. This place is far and away the best. We've never had views like this. We even liked it better than the beach views we've had which says a lot. It's so much more private and interesting.
From start to finish the rental process was easy and they even called to make sure everything was fine - a nice touch which we haven't had in the past.
We would recommend the property without hesitation and hope to be back in November (fingers crossed!)
Great property. Owners were friendly and helpful. Fishing was great. Will be back
Thank you for your kind words. We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay and hope you'll be able to return.
Set in a great location views are lovely
A really nice property in a quite location on Marco Island. There was everything in there that we needed for our stay. Sunrise and sunset views were amazing. Owner helped us complete our last minute booking from Marco Island and made sure we were OK. Only thing that is that the bathrooms and the lanai areas need a little updating.
Would recommend this property and would stay again.
Located in a prestigious neighborhood along 'Millionaire's Row' on the quiet end of a cul-de-sac (i.e., no traffic). Other Activities: shopping, boating, para-sailing, wildlife viewing, health/beauty spa, basketball court
