The hoses of both showers were leaking profusely. If you are an adult taking a shower this wouldn't be especially bothersome other than the fact that it is a waste of water. But I tried to shower my child and the water coming out of the hose instead of the shower head sprayed all over me and the bathroom. This was very inconvenient. The bathroom faucets leaked spraying water all over the counter top making my stuff wet. The pans in the kitchen are in awful shape. They are really really old flaking little black pieces of coating into the food you are cooking on it. No paper towels in the kitchen. I've rented in Big Bear frequently and have always been provided paper towels. As a result I didn't prepare for such a lack of accommodation and clean up was inconvenient. Other places I have stayed in Big Bear have also provided at least some coffee for that first morning in case you didn't bring any.
Loved that Bear Mountain was about a 5 min walk. So close! The property was pretty nice. Two decent size bedrooms downstairs with their own bathroom which is very convenient. Living room area was upstairs with half a bath. Pretty spacious living room. Had a pool table so that was fun. Overall it's a nice property would definitely stay here again because the slopes are so close!
