About Warren & Carol Driggers

My husband and I are self-employed professional photographers with two grown children and five grandchildren. We love to enjoy Picture Perfect with our family and make many memories for all of us. It has been a unique experience sharing it with each grandchild as they were born. They are now learning to ski and love to fish in the summer for trout. Or have Mimi and Papa help them chase fireflies through the yard on warm summer evenings. The mantle over the fireplace is made from a piece of walnut cut from Carol's Family Farm by her father and brother. It is truly a piece of unique art. The headboard in the mastersuite is handcarved by the Amish in Pennsylvania from solid oak and also the rocking chair. Each is signed and numbered by the artist.

Why Warren & Carol Driggers chose Maggie Valley/Waynesville Area

We wanted a place to be accessible all year round and easily reached from our home in South Carolina. We love Maggie Valley and the surrounding area because of its beauty, the people and the many things that are available here without having bad traffic and crowds. The wildlife is abundant. Making a short drive from our house to see and hear the Elk is a special treat. It is hard to leave at the end of each visit to our home in Maggie Valley.

What makes this cabin unique

I love taking walks in the area and seeing other beautiful views from a different side of our mountain. Enjoying the wildlife you can see while swinging or rocking from our porch. I have seen groundhogs, chipmunks, squirrels, many different kinds of birds and even a baby black bear one time. In the spring to fall there are lots of butterflies and fireflies. Sitting in the hot tub while it is snowing and catching snowflakes is an unique experience. Such a relaxing place to stay. We hope you will share your new memories made at Picture Perfect with us.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We had a very relaxing stay in your cabin during our church's camp meeting . The upstairs is so cozy and I enjoyed your tub with the view of the trees. Also enjoyed looking at all your decorations. We live just 1 1/5 hours away but felt deep in the mountains with your decor.

We just returned from our 7 days at Picture Perfect cabin! It was lovely. We were so pleasantly happy at how beautiful the cabin was along with the surrounding ares. We loved just sitting on the deck or hot tub, reading and enjoying the peaceful soundings. Everything you need is in the cabin.

Waynesville is so quaint and artsy. Asheville is a short skip away. White water rafting, tubing, waterfalls, and Cherokee is also 30 minutes away.

We can't say enough. We have told many friends and family already about this hidden secret. We will be "back"!

Relaxing atmosphere

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was clean, well equipped, and the beds were comfy. We throughly enjoyed the deck and the fire pit. The scenery was beautiful and the temps were very pleasant for the summer. No humidity! We would love to visit again, perhaps in the fall of the year. We appreciated the Driggers prompt response to our questions and thank them for sharing their lovely Picture Perfect Cabin.

Excellent Stay

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was clean, well furnished and convenient. Other houses in the neighborhood, but a very private quiet setting. Spent time each day in Waynesville. As well as trips to Asheville and other nearby locations. Excellent location close to many activities.

Owner communication and instructions were easy to follow. Hopefully, we can arrange another trip to this area and home. Thanks for allowing us to use your home.

Our week in the Picture Perfect Cabin

was PERFECT. The cabin had everything you would need. The setting was quiet, peaceful

and beautiful. Loved the way the bedrooms were arranged. Upstairs was like your own little apartment. We will definitely return.

Cozy and centrally located

  • 5 of 5

I've stayed here quite a few times in the last 10 years. From guys only trips (before kids), to my latest family trip. For its size, it will accommodate A good number of people. It's always well kept and the experience I've had has been very consistent over the years, which is why I like returning.

The location of the cabin is close by just about any activity you would want to do, yet tucked away in a small neighborhood on a hill top.

Cozy, clean and great location!

  • 5 of 5

Picture perfect cabin is a perfect name for this quaint cabin. Situated on a hill in a small subdivision overlooking a green pasture that backs up to a larger mountain. Cows roam freely in the pasture and will come up to the fence to greet you! Inside the cabin are 3 nice sized bedrooms. The cabin was very clean when we arrived. The kitchen was stocked with appropriate pots, pans and cutlery. Wifi available for staying connected if you like. Hot tub was perfect end to a long days hike! Perfect proximity to Maggie Valley, Blue Ridge Parkway and downtown Waynesville
