I am a scientist formerly employed at the Hanford site in Southeastern Washington site and specialized in nuclear waste disposal. I am also a landlord and a home owner who enjoys fine dining, good wine and lots of dancing.
I have traveled extensively to Europe, Russian, the former Soviet Union and Southeast Asia.
I am on the Benton City Economic Development Council and Planning Commission and take an interest in improving the livability of the City.
Future plans include adding additional vacation rental properties in Washington's wine country.

I chose to locate here because of the great climate which allows for year round outdoor activities and because of the increasing wine tourism.
If you enjoy a quiet, peaceful place to relax with great views of the Horse Heaven Hills, this is it. Watch the horses in the pasture behind and enjoy the gardens.
We really enjoyed our stay at the "wine country cottage." The house is very well kept, the furnishings and decor very warm and welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils and small appliances such as toaster, etc. We were welcomed with a bottle of local wine (excellent), and had a nice time sipping it in the lovely garden backyard. The beds were comfy, and it was generally pretty quiet while we were there- except one morning when the neighbors decided to blare some Latin-style music (and sing along, too, lol!) for the whole street to hear. That was our only point of complaint, and you could have that happen anywhere. Overall a great time! Would recommend!
Only stayed for one night but wish my girlfriend and I had stayed longer! House was excellent with big rooms and excellent features like AC, a BBQ, electric fire place, nice kitchen, TV ect. Yard was very big and very nice would be great to go with a bigger group than 2! Very close to the Yakima River which was perfect to swim in. Also very close to Red Mountain wineries
We (3 couples) had a wonderful weekend staying at this cottage, and I highly recommend it. We were welcomed with fresh flowers and a nice bottle of wine from a local winery. The house is lovely and linens are nice, but the best part is the garden. It is filled with flowers, herbs and fruit trees, and looks out at a small pasture with a couple of horses. There is a lovely gazebo/grape arbor where we sat after dinner sipping wine and star gazing. The weather was perfect for dinner outside in the garden, and it was nice to have a grill available for cooking. The garden caretaker told us that it used to be a medicinal garden, and if we hadn't brought our own herbs already, we would have enjoyed the abundance of chives.
We went wine tasting during the day, and drank some of our collections with dinner that we cooked together. We went to the farmer's market in Prosser on Saturday, but there are markets in other locations on other days. It is particularly nice to enjoy the local fruit. We also brought some of our own food, which I recommend if you are a seafood lover. Red Mountain is a great place to go for red wine lovers, and we would definitely stay in the cottage again when we return.
We were looking for a place to land for a weekend with some old college friends (some we haven't seen in nearly a decade) and this cottage was perfect! We loved the landscaping and decoration of the place. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a place to stay near the Tri-cities.
We spent several days there with our adult children. Very nice and clean and centrally located in wine country. A huge plus is the backyard where we spent a lot of time just sitting and talking.
Fresh flowers awaited us in this cozy home. Centrally located amongst wineries in the area. Comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood. Cottage style backyard has nice seating areas for having morning coffee. Kitchen well supplied. (We would recommend having some non stick cookware.)
