Why Jackie or Jack chose Northern Wisconsin

We came to Crivitz to teach school over forty years ago. Our boys love to hunt, fish and ski. Finding a place on the lake gave us a perfect opportunity to do the things we love.

What makes this cabin unique

Enjoying the beauty of nature, viewing the wildlife, and the recreation of fishing, hunting and skiing on the lake are some of the unique benefits you will experience on your visit .

Relaxing getaway

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Eagles Nest which is set back a little from Lake Noquebay. The cabin was perfect. We brought our dog and she enjoyed the air conditioning and the yard surrounding the cabin. This cabin is located on a quiet end of the road. So walking the dog was peaceful. The dock was great for fishing. Now if only the fish would have showed up! We were able to rent their pontoon for a few days. Lake Noquebay is a big enough lake to enjoy but not too big. Plenty of nature to see. Fish were hiding! The owners were friendly and helpful. They gave us great suggestions on places to eat, sights to see and things going on. We were on vacation over the 4th of July and wasn't sure how busy the area was going to be. However, it wasn't super busy. So very enjoyable! The dining choices were plenty. We were pleasantly surprised on the prices. We are definitely coming back.

A stress free getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 4 adults enjoyed a peaceful stay at the Eagle's Nest. The cabin was decorated cute in up-north fashion and very clean. Jackie was quick to provide what we couldn't find in the kitchen. Both Jack & Jackie were very friendly hosts and did a great job before, during and after our stay answering all our requests....even helping to return our lost wedding ring! The only thing that could have been better, was if we caught more fish! But...that was not Jack or Jackie's fault. Jack did give us lots of fishing advice. It could be that we're just not good at fishing! There were plenty of other things that we enjoyed during our stay. The Crivitz water ski show was great and we attended the weekly flea market. The ice cream sundaes at Soup to Nuts were scrumptious! We enjoyed an evening walk and bike ride. We also had our two little dogs with us and I'm sure they were happy to be with us instead of being at a kennel. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing, stress free vacation. Thank you Jack & Jackie!

I was looking for a place to relax, on the water, where I could feel at home and just chill! And boy I sure found it! The cabin was everything I could hope for. Rustic, honey and clean! Great deck, great view, and peace and quiet. Thank you Jackie and Jack!

Great place!

  • 5 of 5

We rented both of these cabins for our mom's 80th birthday! We had a great time and the cabins were excellent! The owners are great people! They definitely added fun to our vacation! We would stay here again without a doubt! The lake is steps away from the cabin, the fire pit is huge, plenty of chairs to relax in, and very quiet! The cabins and location are actually better than described! We would highly recommend! Thanks again Jack and Jackie!

Wonderful lake stay!

  • 5 of 5

Life is better on Lake Noquebay staying in Jack and Jackie's cabin. We vacationed with another couple and had plenty of room. They were very prompt at returning our emails beforehand with our questions. The property is located at the end of a nice quiet road right on the water. The lake is very large but not crowded at all. There were three docks to fish off and a sandy shore to swim from. We enjoyed sitting on the deck or living room watching life on the water. We loved seeing the eagles hunt for fish. The cabin was nice, clean, and had everything we needed. We had a wonderful time but I believe our dog Lenny had the best time of all. Hope to be back soon.

Great cabin for all ages!

  • 5 of 5

This was one of the best WI vacations we've had in a long time. The whole idea was spending time with family and relaxing and that is exactly what we did. Jack & Jackie are such great hosts. The cabin had everything you could imagine in it, even glass wine glasses! I've never rented a cabin where so many of the little things were provided that you wouldn't think you needed but you do. Thanks Jack & Jackie for such a wonderful time.
