Owner / Property Manager purchased this house in 2005
Upon our arrival the place was a mess. It was not clean, no sheets on bed, no clean towels, the table on deck was broken and pieces of it on deck. I called owner twice and emailed with NO response. I called Evolve they said maids would come Saturday. No one came. My guests and i had to wash sheets and towels and phone them on our vacation. This was unacceptable. Owner offered to comp us one night but wont refund cleaing charge. This is dead wrong. She got cleaning fee from last tenant. we should nit have to pay this. She wants to offer a free night for my next stay. I would never come back to this place, I feel a full refund is in order. I drove 4 hours plus for this?? I was very embarrassed to say the least because i was the coordinator of this trip.
We rented this house for a weekend bachelor party. The house fit the bill given our bed and bath needs. There are some minor repairs that look to be in-process, and/or needed. Unluckily for our party when we awoke Saturday and tried to cook and shower we learned that there was no propane in the tank. Good thing no one tried to shower upon arriving late Friday night unless they like cold showers. We contacted the owner who was good in getting us set-up for a fuel delivery on Saturday afternoon. Not the owners fault that previous renters left stuff on that drained the tank but it left us without cooking, heat, and showers for one of the 2 days we had the property.
Very enjoyable ski vacation experience for our group of friends! Owners very easy a straight forward. Would rent again!
The house was lovely. It fit that "Christmas feel" perfectly during my stay over the holidays. From the views to the atmosphere, my experience was truly breath taking. Since i wish to help any fellow home away members, there were only three issues that arose during my stay. The surround sound system was a technical challenge for myself and my family and the dish washer was broken, thus leaving me unable two enjoy these two amenities. In addition, there was an issue opening the lower-level basement door, which caused some trouble. Beyond these small issues the house and my stay became a memory that will last for years to come. I recommend this house to anyone who really wants that traditional "cabin feel" while still holding a sense of modernness. I will definitely be returning here in the future.
This house is overall one of the best houses I've stayed at while traveling. It is very large and comfortable and does not compare to any experience I've had at a hotel or another house. I've traveled to many places and this is the best.
The fire place was beautiful and the chandelier gives it real mountain side character. It perfectly accommodated my family.
The view was outstanding and it was in a very convenient location. Its located right next to the golf course and is a 2 minute ride from the mountain.
Overall I highly recommend my house and the my stay was fantastic!
Three of us came up to do some leaf peeping. We stayed for 2 nights. This is a beautiful house with a spectacular view. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed.
The only downside was that a bear had gotten into the trash buckets and there was trash scattered all over the driveway when we arrived. Also, the tenants before us had done some damage to the house. None of this should reflect poorly on the house and owner. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful setting.
Wish we could have had our dog there.
