This condo was fine for our week's stay with our two teenage daughters. There was room for the 4 of us to spread out when we had some down time. Andrew was more than helpful throughout our experience and provided clear instructions for our arrival. There was an issue with the heating the first few days, and he brought space heaters until it could be fixed.
The location of this property is perfect for getting to the zoo, Sea World, Coronado or anywhere else in San Diego. Anywhere we wanted to go was within 15-20 minutes. There is a LOT of shopping in the immediate area if you like to shop (although that caused some pretty intense traffic!).
The condo was very nice, accessible to all areas of interest in the San Diego area. Well furnished. A lot of updates. The owner went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable. There was a thermostat issue the first day, but the owner of the property quickly got it repaired for our comfort. He even brought fans to ensure that we were comfortable until a repair person could fix it. I would highly recommend it for anyone interested in a nice San Diego, California vacation. Nice pool area; Nice work out (gym area). Property was well manicured, nicely maintained. Nice landscaping. Very clean. Photos of the property accurately portrayed how it looked upon arrival.
Everything was exactly as advertised. Very easy to get there and great location. It was so nice to have the kids get their own room, and for such a reasonable price. Thanks Andrew for working with us.The pool exercise very nice also.
Very nice condo, very happy with the Andrew, we will come back
Our family of four spent a week in Andrew's property and it was in an excellent location for everything we planned to do for the week. At first we looked into staying at a hotel, and were so glad we decided to stay in this condo. We had plenty of room for privacy and also for hanging out together in the living room. Both bedrooms have wonderful king sized beds which were VERY comfortable. My husband and I have back and neck problems, and we slept great all week. There was plenty of dresser and closet space in both rooms. The condo was very clean and living area comfortable. It also feels safe here and is located in a safe neighborhood. The pool area looks out onto a treed area, so it was a nice relaxing setting to be in while the kids played in the pool.
I saw earlier reviews where someone had concerns about what the kitchen has. It has everything you need to make simple, small meals but if you expect to make a gourmet supper or a large meal, you might have trouble. We mostly used the kitchen to reheat leftovers (from eating out), cooked a pizza, and make all our breakfasts, so it worked great for us.
From earlier reviews, we knew that the condo only had basic cable but it does have WiFi. So we all had our I-pads/tablets to play with during downtime. There is a DVD player in the living room so we rented DVDs from a nearby Redbox and had some nice family movie nights together. Frankly, I really enjoyed that we did not have any TVs on constantly during our vacation (which is always the case at home)! It was easier to relax. Andrew has a bluetooth speaker in the living room and we played Slacker radio a lot.
This was our first visit to San Diego so we were very pleased to see how close we were to all the things to do. This property is centrally located 10 min from Balboa Park/San Diego zoo, 12 min from Sea World, and just 16 min from Coronado Beach. We also went to Point Loma and La Jolla which were just 20-25 min away. It is just a short (10 min) drive to the airport too.
We really enjoyed the property and would stay here again. Andrew was very responsive to our questions, both when we first made our reservation and when we stayed there. I rated this property 4 stars (not 5) because it is described as a luxury fully furnished condo. It would get a fifth star if the kitchen was more fully stocked, if the condo had more cable channels, and if there were recommendations on restaurants/activities upon arrival.

San Diego is known for its year-round sunny skies, pleasant temperatures, and beautiful beaches. And now, right in the middle of it all, San Diego - Mission Valley is ready to host you in one of the greatest cities in California
San Diego offers, of course, the world-famous San Diego Zoo and SeaWorld. Balboa Park, located 3 miles from the resort, is loaded with activities and sights for the whole family. You can tour the city by boat, bus, or trolley, or stop by the Seaport Village for shopping and dining along the waterfront. Meander the streets, shops, and restaurants of the turn-of-the-20th-century Gaslamp Quarter to see roughly 17 blocks of restored historical buildings.
No trip to San Diego would be complete without a short drive over the San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge to the island of Coronado to check out the famous historical Hotel Del Coronado and Coronado Beach. And speaking of beaches, San Diego has 70 miles of sandy coastline and more than 30 official beaches. For the kids there is Legoland, located in Carlsbad, which combines 40 hands-on, interactive attractions, family rides, shows, and restaurants. Add Old Town, otherwise known as the “birthplace of San Diego,” to your list of stop-offs.
Sports fans have their pick of professional baseball, football, and hockey. Or, in this city’s incredible climate and setting, you can partake in your own favorite sport, whether it’s golfing, deep-sea fishing, rollerblading, bike riding, surfing, or sailing. Hang ten at Pacific Beach. Watch for whales at the Cabrillo National Monument. Scuba dive or snorkel off La Jolla Cove, where you’ll find an aquatic ecological reserve just waiting to be explored.
