cozy and quaint

The location was a nice walk to shops and places to eat, or a short drive to downtown. The neighborhood seemed very friendly and safe. The space was very well done and perfect for two.My husband and I totally enjoyed our stay, it felt like a little bit of country in the middle of the city!

This is a great little cozy cottage in the center of South Congress and Lamar areas. Great for Not SxSW live music locations.

Beautiful little cottage to come home to after long conference days.

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful little cottage to come home to after long conference days. The murphy bed was super easy to use, and incredibly comfortable. Fully stocked with tea, coffee, local beer!, soaps and shampoos. The owners (and neighbors) are friendly, and offered some great advice for what to see, do and eat in town. I've been dreaming of the brisket, and Gus' fried chicken for days. Check in/out was as simple as I've ever encountered, and parking on the street was easy. I opted to rent a bike while in town as well. It's an easy ride downtown through neighborhoods, and on bike paths, and only a bit trickier returning due to some minimal uphills. I couldn't have been more comfortable, and look forward to heading back as soon as I can.

Great Find for an Austin Trip!

  • 5 of 5

Would have stayed here my whole trip if it was available! Perfect little studio in a great spot, with all the necessities & more. Packed light, so appreciated all the amenities provided, and self check-in offered flexibility. Waking up in the quiet neighborhood was nice after loud nights of music downtown, and driving to downtown only took 8 minutes, even with SXSW traffic. SoCo fun is even closer. Thanks again, Erin - nice meeting Paul!

Perfect for a quick weekend trip

  • 5 of 5

Perfect for two friends coming to Austin for a wedding weekend! Five minutes to everything. The "tiny house" is stocked generously with every amenity you could ask for. Other reviews mention the dog but we only encountered it once and it is enclosed in its own fenced-in area separated from the tiny house. We both loved our stay - the only thing we might add is a full length or just an additional mirror!

Being from Austin, we are having a "staycation" in this perfect little casita. It is clean, quiet and perfectly minimalist. My husband and I had coffee on the porch one morning and heard 4 different sets of church bells ringing from neighborhood churches. Pleasant sounds of city living! We've enjoyed a variety of wonderful restaurants close by, as well as our walks through the heavily treed neighborhood. Paul and Erin have been very friendly and attentive to our needs. Thanks, Paul and Erin!
