We are long time East Orleans property owners. My grandfather first had a home in East Orleans almost 60 years ago. We bought this charming house because of it's extraordinary, and panoramic, water views, beautiful gardens and tranquil setting.
Close-up, unobstructed, water views from virtually every room in the house and location on the property. Wonderful opportunity to watch wood ducks, mallards, swans, herons and other shore birds.
Thank you so much. We had such a lovely time. We really enjoyed the house. My husband remarked to me several times that this is his favorite house that we
have ever rented in Orleans. We hope to return next year.
The setting was so quiet and private and peaceful, an ideal, tranquil spot. The views are unsurpassed. It was fun to watch all manner of birds come and go in the lovely landscaped garden. The house and the furnishings are charming. The place is stocked with everything one could possibly need, from a beautiful big kitchen with a pantry of spices and staples, to extra pillows, to a great selection of books.
We had an extraordinarily relaxing vacation, which was much needed. Such a quick drive to everything in town, too, with several beaches to choose from. Our 4 yr old particularly loved Skaket beach. My family and I are so thankful to have found this spot. And Lisa couldn't have been nicer to deal with! She made the process easy, answered numerous questions, and provided a lot of great info from the best grocery stores to restaurants. This place is a gem! We hope to return!
My family and I returned to Twiss Road for our yearly vacation. It is so comfortable, cozily appointed and has the most spectacular views of the coast. The house has picture windows and the sunrise was spectacular every morning. The resident swans add to the dreamlike quality of the setting. The owners have outfitted it so vacationers are really comfortable-outdoor shower, grill, Kayaks and lounges make it a dream vacation.
his amazing house is not only comfortable, clean, and charming beyond words, but is perched perfectly for the most unbelievable view imaginable. Sunrise, sunset, rain, or sun to sit in any room at anytime leaves you breathless. Almost no reason to leave the premises it is the perfect place to set up camp and relax. Vacation home at its best.
My first time at the Cape and I feel like I hit the jackpot. I stayed at this incredibly charming waterfront house with amazing water views and picturesque gardens full of enormous hydrangea.
The setting and the home décor were beautiful...even more than I imagined. I did not want the week to end. This was the most relaxing vacation ever. I will be back!
The location and the view will take your breath away, situated at the end of a lovely winding road and facing Pochet Inlet and, in the distance, the ocean and Nauset Beach, which is only about a mile away, and a very easy walk. The view is just mesmerizing and it changes every few minutes as the tides go in and out, attracting lots of different types of birds and swans. The house is lovely, just the right size, attractively furnished, well appointed and extremely comfortable. And the gardens and hydrangea surrounding the house are magnificent. One can walk to Meeting House Pond, to the post office and the little shops on Main Street, and it is an easy drive to the town center of Orleans, Skaket Beach or anywhere else you would like to go. I loved this place so much, I came back in September 2014. I cannot wait to visit again!
I enjoyed a weeklong vacation at this beautiful house and property. I cant say enough good things about it. The location is one of the most beautiful I have ever travelled to. We found the amenities to be exceedingly comfortable and the photographs were accurate to the experience. We watched the sunrise over the water while having our first cup of coffee. We were always aware of the beautiful water-views throughout our stay. We are hoping to return to this wonderful spot.
