We thought it was very nice and accommodating.

The heated basement was nice since it allowed us to set up the cots down there giving us more space to move around in on the ground level. Weather wasn't the greatest but we had a good time.

Nice accommodations, beautiful lake.

  • 3 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in this very nice log cabin. Except for the twin beds being extremely uncomfortable the rest of the cabin was well stocked and furnished. We did suggest to the manager that bureaus in the bedroom would be helpful for storing clothes. the lake is lovely and relatively quiet. We shared nice evenings around the firepit.

Baxter State Park and Mount Katahdin are easy day trip.

Mount Katahdin is the highest mountain in Maine at 5,268 feet. Named “Katahdin” by the Penobscot Indians, the term means “The Greatest Mountain.” Katahdin is the centerpiece of Baxter State Park: a steep, tall mountain formed from underground magma. The flora and fauna on the mountain are typical of those found in northern New England. Katahdin is the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail, and is located near a stretch known as the Hundred-Mile Wilderness.

Schoodic Lake is a deep water fishing lake.
